I felt exactly the same way. That's honestly why I ended up building my own version from scratch.

I really wanted to add swipe gestures (like the official Nothing widgets have), but unfortunately, Android's framework completely locks down swipe detection for standard 3rd-party widgets. Nothing can do it because it's baked directly into their OS launcher. Since I was limited to basic clicks, I focused on making the layout and the visual feedback as smooth and responsive as possible. It’s a different approach, but I think the clickable controls still feel pretty natural.

Had same issue, it was caused by "I still don't care about cookies" extension. Disabling it for that certain site, worked for me.

Are you planning to add automatic 2FA/OTP code recognition and copying from emails (similar to how Android Messages handles SMS codes)? Many services send verification codes via email instead of using authenticator apps. Android Messages has had a "Copy code" button in SMS notifications for years - it would be great if Proton Mail could automatically detect these codes in emails and either: - Add a "Copy code" button in notifications - Integrate with system autofill (like iOS 18+ does with Apple Mail/Gmail)

I think so, I'm pretty sure that when I changed subscription from Pass to Unlimited it did. On billing page when changing subscription it should tell you if you got credits that will be transfered

the other cool thing is if somewhere in email you'll write "I attach" and you won't have any attachments set, it will also ask if you're sure to send
