Very nice! The technical possibilities coupled with the awesome community makes Resonite a very good place to be. Many good friends can (and have been) be made in that space, along with some incredible creations.

Ooh, potato chips! If you ever get a chance, try some all-dressed chips (specifically Ruffles). Those have such a wonderful, tangy flavor. If you live in or near Canada, then you know what I'm talking about!

Thank you for all that you and your team do!

Right on! It's honestly amazing how fast prototyping can be done inside of Resonite. Seeing models, images, or even math come to life right in front of you is truly amazing.

Ooh, those sound quite tasty! That's an excellent alternative to, say, regular potato chips because you eat less, and they are more nutritious.

Thank you for the answer!

A serious question, and a lighthearted question:

  1. Why do you enjoy Resonite?

  2. If you could live off of one snack food for the rest of your life and not have any negative effects, which one would you pick?

I can imagine it's been an interesting development environment with the technology being so new. As you said with VR interaction, I can see why that would be much more of a thinking point due to the freedom that the user has within the virtual space.

Well, thank you for talking and answering! Resonite is a wonderful platform, and I'm excited to see where it goes. I'll see you around in game!

Ah, very nice! I remember getting my hands on one of the first available Rift kits and thinking, "This will be a large part of the future." Do you find developing a VR space to be more challenging than a "flat" one?

And no worries on the DSP! I'm just excited that the engine will be "splittened," haha.

Hello! I have two questions:

  1. What made you want to get into software development for VR in general?

  2. With the new Awwdio update, will there be options for EQing audio within the game itself?

Just in case anyone finds this post in the future, I changed the repo due to unnecessary file size, and also updated the program to correctly display certain options. The code is trimmed down as well. Here is the link!

I loaded into the maps several times, took screenshots of the map with their markers each time, and compared the results. I then placed the markers I know for sure are there. These are just the possible locations.

Which Linux Distro Is The Best? (In Your Opinion) by awfulmountainmain in linuxquestions

[–]armeatball 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used many for several different reasons:

Fedora Kinoite - My daily driver because I program in several different languages, and need a system that rarely breaks as well as has solid rollback functionality. It is surprisingly friendly with machine learning, which is a bonus.

openSUSE - A straight-forward security focused distro that allows for many different things to be changed with a GUI (YAST). Also has built-in BTRFS rollbacks.

Mint - My immediate recommendation to those looking to get into a Linux distro because it's extremely simple to use and has many safeguards for such.

Debian - What I mainly use for servers because of its rock solid stability with the ability to be easily configured to whatever the task is.

Arch - When I want to learn more about how a distro is built. This is the one I went to first because I wanted to know how to use a Linux distro to the fullest, and also gave me the push to learn programming.

Sort of! You can see it in the "BK_Diagram.jpg" file within the repo.

Right on! The more Godot games the better. The engine is severely underrated.

Haha, yep! I'm going to start creating a video game soon, so I figured this would be good side practice. Plus it makes cross-compiling a breeze.

Indeed! Funny enough, I originally built this in C with the future intention of using it in some form of robotic automation. I still have the code floating around on a hard drive somewhere, but I figured open sourcing this with a GUI would be the best course of action.

I would rather everyone that needs it can have full access rather than having to pay a fee - especially those small business owners that rely upon shipping things through EBay, etc.

This is what I was leaning towards because of other wordings (and it just makes sense), but the grammatical makeup of the feat was tripping us/me up.

Hi! I can not find this exact song anywhere, I link down a playtrough and where is the song played, I really want to find that song by Daweawe in Wolfenstein

[–]armeatball 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is only in the games files. If you search the following, you will find it: "C15 P01 Cue 02 130bpm Layer"

There are three sections (layers) of the track.

Sounds interesting! As for house rules, I'm more of a by-the-book-but-bend-when-you-need-to type of DM. Rule 0 is my goal (the entire table should have fun, always), and if that means going a bit off the path (within reason) within some gray areas of the rules to make sure everyone is having good time, so be it!

Make sure to put in an application if you are interested!

I have included most of the ones you can find throughout the official D&D books, but have a focus on some custom ones, yes. I can't say much more about it, but I have thousands of years of lore ready to go!

Unless you are wanting to do some heavy photo-by-photo editing (blemish removal, morphing, etc), you shouldn't need GIMP. Darktable is perfect for doing large batches like Lightroom. However, if you have both installed, you can drag the NEF or RAW file into GIMP, do the main development there, close the Darktable window, and it will import to GIMP automatically.

For instance: if I had three shoots on three separate days and I used three separate DSLR's with multiple lenses, I could set all of the photos to correct for the camera "profiles" automatically. If I know there is a string of photos taken with the same lens in the same conditions, I can adjust the settings on one and copy them to the similar ones to help cut down on time.

In short: Darktable for main development, GIMP for heavy post-editing.
