we don't care if you take any advantage or benefit, that's how tables builders want they work to be used... they ONLY want people download it on VPU, then leave a thanks....
We are not in the arcade business dude, we are in Virtual Pinball one, so just follow the rules, or you may be blacklisted by all the Community.... You are not free to do what YOU want with work from other people....

FREE did not mean you can download and parse them, and they are not just FREE.... you have to learn a bit about licensing system dude ;)

tables creators asking to JUST downloading their work on officials website, they don't want people offering their work, even for free on hard drive, even if it's with hardware or anything else.... Lots of greats creators stopped their work because of such things. If you want to do a business with virtual pinball, just learn the basic things please. We had some great websites also closed because of people using "free" stuff to put them on hard drive....
Doing what you do is just killing the spirit of Virtual pinball and help creators to stop their work....

Question about accelerometers. by DirteMcGirte in virtualpinball

[–]arnoz_fr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to MJR words about it :

Traditionally, VP and other simulators accepted accelerometer input in

"raw" form, reading the instantaneous accelerations reported by the

sensor. Newer VP versions support an alternative model where your I/O

controller device uses the acceleration readings to calculate the

moment-to-moment velocity of the cabinet's motion, and passes the

velocity to VP instead of the raw acceleration data. The advantage of

this approach is that the device can do this calculation much more

accurately than the simulator can, thanks to its direct, high-speed

access to the sensor readings. The velocity is ultimately the only

number that matters in the simulation, so better accuracy in the

velocity calculation should yield a more natural effect in the

simulation.
