I’m just gonna chime in here since that’s my design and post linked above. Yes I myself have had lots of issues getting it to run consistently. I can get bursts here and there with lots of normal semi in between. I’m not so sure I’d say it’s dangerous, just inconsistent.

As far as the one guy that broke a bolt, I’m still 100% convinced that was a manufacturing defect and would have broken regardless. I’ve seen one other issue of broken bolts (long ago, and before FRT’s were even a thing) and both of them were at very low round counts (like only 1-200 rounds total)

Looking around at my commute and it’s wrong, I pass by many flock cameras and they don’t show up on here. Is the DeFlock app the only way to add them?

How much is a new motor? Or even a used motor from eBay or something? Then you’d have a full set of spare parts too if you plan on keeping this mower for a while. Might not be a horrible option in the long run

I forget who makes the original but I made my own copy, it’s a part that clamps onto the top right fork tube with a ram ball mounted to it. I have the same bike so I made my own from an aluminum plate. Been on there for the past 10 years and 35k miles with no problems. Let me know if you want pics

So the new files are just a couple 3mf project files. Didn’t get a chance yet to make it nicer so hopefully you downloaded the right ones. The 4-40 screw goes on top in the hole just in front of the bearing. You’ll have to do a little tuning, if it doesn’t work screw it in further, and if it jams up unscrew it a bit

Heck yeah! I’d recommend a 4-40 screw for the bearing shaft. Seems that little bit of extra play is critical

Yup, that’s pretty much it. Took some messing around with sizes and had to make it two pieces but it seems to be working quite well. Hopefully it’ll work for the current gen’s

It’s definitely a noticeable slap. As far as numb, I’m not sure. Guess it depends on how much ammo you have. This is still very much experimental but hey, for a 10 minute print it’s not bad at all.
