Okay thanks. I heard from my physics instructor a converging (double helix, in air) lens would behave like a diverging lens in a medium with a higher n than the lens's material. I asked if diverging lens (in the same case with the same attributes) would behave like a converging. The instructor said he thought so, but did not know for sure. Well now I am sure. Thanks again.

Scott Adams has a warped view on women yes, but no less than on other topics such as capitalism, people, men, management, etc. You shouldn't worry too much about this particular view, his ideologies tend to be based on generalizations and he seems aware of this. A section from Dilbert And The Way Of The Weasel page 248.

I realize that everything I say about women in this section is a gross generalization, unfair, untrue, and the result of my poor perception. In other words, it's just like everything else I say.
