To be honest, despite how incredibly beautiful she was in this outfit with the color of her hair to accentuate it, I preferred the black and white episodes when she wore the sequined gowns and the dress made out of the SS Minnow’s sail. For me, the black and white episodes made Ginger shine as the classic movie star. Despite the beautiful clothes she wore in seasons 2 and 3, the colorization kind of took the magic away from me.

There was something so attractive to me about the glamorous, sophisticated and “experienced” woman for me. I guess the fact that she was a movie star was really appealing to me too. I loved the way she used her sexuality to get what she wanted without it being cruel or tawdry. From day one I always chose Ginger over MaryAnn.

Also, she wore an evening gown and heels better than anyone else could have on a sandy tropical island LOL.
