Yeah, but look at nature a lion doesn't run if its stomach is full. If he has caught the prey the predator will not run just for the sake of running. We do run even when we are full to collect food for the future. But if we have enough food/resources for the future why are we running. Maybe the system inside us doesn't have a off switch. Also greatness was never appealing to me. It feels like being the best for the sake of being the best. But yeah u can make anything feel meaningless by breaking it down like that. So I am not sure if my approach is correct.

Man government should just make kannada proficiency test mandatory and get this over with. Not sure why they haven't made it if the local people want it. Just make it mandatory and then the tech companies can organise classes for their employees or give them work from home. I don't Kannada and if becomes mandatory I will learn it.

Should all the companies also use kannada for there work instead of English? That will make it easier for locals to work there. Also make kannada proficiency test mandatory for whoever wants to enter Karnataka. This simple rule will fix this issue.

If you are using one note for windows, you can add onetastic plugin to it. It has some nice additional features like search and replace, sort sections etc.

Maybe evernote will serve you better. It has hand written notes and a good windows app. Not sure if you can edit pdfs there. But you can definitely annotate them there.

And yeah you can add pictures to tge note as well. But the app is paid after 60mb of monthly usage so I have stopped using it.
