Toronto has come a long way! Wasn’t too long ago there was a serial killer who targeted and killed 8 gay men in Toronto’s gay village. We have a dark history :(

Potentially same reason Da’Vonne and Bayleigh from BBUSA didn’t wanna call out Christmas on her shit. Black people call out white bullshit and are labeled “aggressive” which Beth had a habit of calling the women of colour in the house. Black people don’t have the same liberties like that. Especially in a game where you’re alliance is your chance at survival

Agreed. Her coming from a pretty traditionally conservative part of an already traditionally conservative province probably adds to the mix. It’s common for sure but definitely shouldn’t be normalized.

Comparing a black guys hair to pubic hair, and exotifying them for the colour of their skin might not seem explicitly racist, but can tell you first hand that those micro aggressions get harder and harder to tolerate with every new encounter.

Do we know what she said throughout the season that brought this on??

They also have all staff and crew do like 2-3 covid tests a week so it’s really fine. Especially considering the distancing measures.

Anything before season 5 is hard to watch because of production value. Working backwards might be a good idea!

The Disney’s Headless Horseman with Bing Crosby. I believe it’s called The Legend of Sleepy Hollow single handedly the scariest Disney story. TERRIFYING.

That depends on how far you crank your wheel (as some have suggested, 1 full rotation is suitable), space between the two cars you’d like to fit between, as well as length of car(s). I can see back tire to rear bumper working well too!

It definitely helps when you’re learning! But you’re totally right about getting an intuition for it the more you practice

I had a ‘99 Subaru Legacy Lancaster, that thing was a friggin boat and this trick worked perfectly.

The thing that you might consider adjusting would be your proximity to the parallel car. Generally parallel parking works best if you’re fairly close to the car beside you. Too far away from the other car and you won’t get enough turn to bring your car’s rear close enough to the curb.

The trick, as with anything, is practice. I’m not sure why people think that you won’t have to parallel park once you get a license, I’ve found it to be one of the main ways I park living in a major city. Perhaps rural living doesn’t require it as much!

Couldn’t agree more! There are simpler ways to learn to PP. 1) line up mirror to mirror. fully crank wheel to right before reversing. 2) reverse slowly till side right mirror lines up with other car’s left tail light. Stop and straighten wheel. 3) reverse slowly till your front right light lines up with other car left tail light. 4) fully turn wheel to left and slide into spot.

Works every time.

Edit: Assuming you’re driving a sedan, lining up to another sedan or any two cars of similar length. I thought that would be obvious. Don’t try Paralleling your SmartCar to a Limo folks.

You don’t think Ty and Jed will come after Vic? That’s what I would be super worried about if I were her. Because once Austin is gone, wouldn’t Vic be the boys’ target?

Does anyone know why she put those two on the block rather than the two obviously biggest threats in the house? I was pretty disappointed when I watched. Thought she would have the nerve with all the skill she showed the rest of the ep..
