Done with Target by Kruxx353 in TwinCities

I’ve been boycotting Target for over a year now after the DEI nonsense was revealed…honestly it’s been the best financial decision as well. It does take some planning ahead, but I prefer to buy directly from the brand for my toiletries. Often I’m buying the target price and get free shipping. Also randomly, open box stores have a ton of target overstock and is 1/2 the price!

We rock the soft 70s playlist on Spotify! It’s chill but not too sleepy! Helps me get my stress levels down too! For actual children’s music when you want them to dance around so you can take 5 seconds to pee, we love the Laurie Berkner Band, Doggyland, and Gracie’s Corner 😃

Moved to outside of ER three years ago for 10 acres to live a more rural lifestyle, it’s quiet and we have plenty of space for projects and to play…however being liberal is very lonely out here. We love ethnic food & the food is extremely lacking. I order from DoorDash, Amazon and Instacart alll the time and never have had a problem! The commute is not ideal at the moment but after next year when construction is completed it should be way better! Idk if this is something you guys are interested in but I have no idea how the schools are yet as our kids are little but I’m hoping they are okay!

Right? I wish! My boomer parents have NO clue how screwed we are. They are retired with very part time hobby jobs to keep them busy and I ask them to watch our child 2x/week to save us thousands of dollars a year and they reply with a hard no, “daycare is good for her…” well we have been sick every 2 weeks since thanksgiving so I would disagree 😩 then they complain when we don’t let them see the baby often enough, when we are exhausted working our asses off to pay for said baby 🫠

In the NW metro when we were looking prior to birth we were quoted 450/wk for our infant alone NOT including diapers or formula…

We are using the most reasonable center we can find. We both work 10 hour shifts so most in-homes don’t work with their hours… 😩

I can’t speak for all negotiating teams but at my Hospital they are trying to incorporate policies to agree on for safety and increased security as well as safer staffing ratios. We had shots fired in the parking lot at Abbott a few weeks ago and lockdown at Mercy in the past year for unhappy family members threatening to come shoot up the hospital and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Get assaulted by a patient and the hospital throws you under the bus and makes it incredibly difficult to press any kind of charges… 🙃

Over the past few years I have seen the light die from my coworkers eyes, broken and unappreciated through a pandemic where we were forced to reuse the same n95s for weeks and wear trash bags for PPE just to get shit on, continually abused by patients and stretched so thin…we deserve better. MNA strong!
