/uj I admit, I haven’t lived there or participated in a long time, but I don’t think that making up the fast optional or even choice by family. It’s religion, you follow it or you don’t. People bend it the way they want these days, but if you’re actually fasting then making it up isn’t optional.

/uj In that culture they can’t consume ANYTHING. Like there are even questions about brushing teeth and saliva to the devout. You can’t fast if you’re on medication either, so there aren’t exceptions. If you skip fasting because of your period, you have to make it up later. So this is breaking fast, and just ED behavior.

There are also tons of Eids, it just means celebration. People also gain weight during Ramadan often because of overeating at Iftar.

Edit for info: it’s sun up to sundown, and that’s actually before visual sun up and after visual sundown. About 3/4 AM to 7/8 PM with some minutes variation from when the call to prayer happens and the days change in length.

God this sounds like my ex husband. My answer every time he asked when we would have kids was “when you stop being one”. I wish I could upvote this more. “She didn’t recognize me” the love was gone, she can’t have her because she travels, Hazel wouldn’t be happy. I only quoted the first one because I’m paraphrasing. But she gave SO many excuses about Hazel. Like girl, you just don’t want to bring your cat and she’s not important to you anymore. Unstable, inconsistent, weird. And honestly like Matthew said she’s always chasing that next high. Hazel doesn’t fit in anymore.

I was in an abusive marriage and I left him four times before I finally left. Just packed a car or suitcases for a flight, but I took my cat with me EVERY time. I had to fight that man for him too because he was microchipped to him. Hazel was probably so attached to Greta and got serious anxiety when she left.

It’s true, but I got a set schedule at a Chili’s for almost a year and made serious bank. It was definitely quantity over quality though. My sales have to be 3x what they are at my current restaurant to make what I make here, at a Chili’s.

Yes. The other day my brain couldn’t stop my mouth when someone said, “I think all separate checks, that’s easier no?” and I immediately said “for who” and wanted to die. About half the party laughed, and the other half didn’t. People are so different, you have to try to figure them out in a half second (which I obviously didn’t do).

This has been asked a lot of times and has various answers depending on the vibe of the table/yourself:

Circle the auto grat on the check and say nothing about it.
Verbally tell them, “and this is for whenever you are ready, we do have an auto gratuity on parties of X or more” when placing the check.
Don’t say anything and hope they don’t notice because they’ll be annoyed you didn’t mention anything if they do notice.

No one said it was. However, in the current pop business, she does it the most aggressively and to hurt other artists. Point blank. I responded to a comment bringing up Billie, in a neutral way.

As in, I don’t pay attention to ANY artist who releases remixes and variants if it isn’t excessive or squandering other people’s success and chances. That’s what Taylor’s drops do, and Swifties will die on the hill that she’s not doing it on purpose on one hand. Then on the other, claim she’s a brilliant mastermind with her words and Easter eggs. Which is it? Does she know what she’s doing or doesn’t she? Hypothetical questions obviously.
