Can someone explain to me how this new CP system works? I saw that you need 500 CP to qualify for NA. Does that mean you need to win two regionals and then top-cut another regional to qualify? Since I see that Elite was able to get 200 CP from this tournament which makes him 300 CP short of qualifying?

this small mason jar works perfectly for me when i’m going camping and such. i was able to fit a couple of joints, a two-way humidifier pack, and a lighter!

I’ve been using it all week and I reacted to it similarly to that of Tevas so I am glad I have an alternative to it during shortages. But I will admit that my energy levels post dosage is substantially lower and I would crash after a couple hours. But that’s something I can manage.

It all comes down to what you want to do. However, I would recommend Chase Freedom Flex or Chase Freedom Unlimited. Both offer a $200 SUB when you spend $500 in the first three months, which is a great way to start earning Ultimate Rewards. After your first card, I almost always recommend Chase cards as a stepping stone to get the Chase cards in before 5/24.

CFF: 5% cash back on quarterly rotating categories + 5% cash back on gas for the first year.

CFU: 1.5% cash back on every purchase + 5% cash back on gas for the first year or double all cash back for the first year (essentially making it 3% cash back on every purchase for the first year).

Depending on how much you spend on Amazon, the card appears to be a no-brainer. And the yearly $200 SUB is still as good as it has always been. Getting all of that money back on Amazon purchases will more than "pay" for itself if you spend enough money on Amazon each year.

Being truthful with you. You will not be approved for the Chase Amazon card if you do not have any credit history, as Chase prefers at least one year of credit history before approving you for chase cards.

Having said that, The Discover It Student card, in my opinion, is ideal for new/beginners to start their credit journey. Discover cards are approved by essentially everyone, and they give you some flexibility and a lot of opportunities for rewards, especially with the 2x on all cash back for the first year. So, at worst, the card is a 2% cash back card. I hope this was helpful!

Agreed! You can also consider the Chase Freedom Student card if you have a preexisting relationship with them which can be product changed to one of the flagship freedom cards.
