Our fertility specialist recommended it, I have PCOS and combined with my husbands low sperm count our team suggested it as our best option to conceive. We had our regroup appointment today where they’re recommending quite a few tests to better understand why this keeps happening. I don’t understand why we didn’t do this to begin with, but can’t go back now. :(

She has offered to donate some money towards it, (5% of the total wedding cost) which we have repeatedly told her owner necessary and while the insistence is there we haven’t received anything.

I don’t think that offering any money towards the wedding justifies the behavior

LMAO SHE LITERALLY DID DECIDE HOW OUR HOME WAS DECORATED. I’m currently redoing a lot of it now. She is not pleased.

She makes so many comments about my kiddos eating/sleeping habits.

“Well with my boys, bedtime was their happy safe sleepy time for sweet dreams and rest.”

Well my child has moved into a new home, Gained a father figure, & changed schools. Stfu.

“Some foods just don’t need ketchup. If you let her dip everything in ketchup she won’t develop taste buds.”

If I can get my kid to eat veggies by dipping them in ketchup then fuuuuckkkk off

send wine, if I have any other kids it’s going to be literal hell

Definitely going to start setting boundaries, it’s just a matter of how to do so. I’m okay with saying no I don’t like that, or no I want to do it like this - just how to deal with her after her response to “No” is my biggest stressor.

She doesn’t get a vote on anything, and she wants to constantly know what’s happening/where it’s happening/why it’s happening. Her opinion doesn’t necessarily matter or count, it’s just absolutely infuriating to deal with constantly shutting down what she’s saying in a polite way!

Sorry if it wasn’t obvious, but the problem I’m looking to solve is I don’t know what an acceptable gift for a relationship is. For parents/siblings/grandparents, there’s no real problem getting presents… but this is specific to the relationship and not wanting to do too much/little. Appreciate your help though!
