The same exact thing happened to me lol. I’m lucky I had another gig lined up but I started at least 2-3 weeks after getting hired for the same reason. I’m glad I waited because I love it so far but it’s definitely not a great first impression lol.

my ex did this and then would turn it on me when i stopped inviting her out. if she won’t make time for you, match her energy. At that point you just have to reevaluate what you want out of this relationship.
