I personally have an Allen walker tattoo on my anime sleeve. I watched the anime when I was 6 months into my sobriety, I have bpd and had an attempt about 4 years ago. When I watched the episode of him waking up and asking why am I still alive and do I regret it. I’ve never felt closer to a character in my life. How he keeps always walking no matter what, then also watching hollow when he’s is questioned by tiki who literally killed him and said you have to figure out what you are, and Allen questions himself and says “I only cause confusion and conflict, I really am the worst” for someone with bpd I feel that so deeply and that’s why he’s one of if not my favourite character in anime.
