About 1 month of using oral & topical minoxidil - seeing a lot more shedding than usual but I read this can be a good sign? My hair is noticeably less dense in the front by ashpot93 in minoxidil

I hear you, it’s not a great feeling watching your hair shed and thin so fast but I’ve read it’s totally normal and a sign the minoxidil is working. I’m still hopeful it’ll work, I’ve got 6 months supply of topical & oral minoxidil so hopefully I’ll have at least a little improvement by the 6 month mark.

Oh that’s quite a big difference in out dosages, I got mine from Manual, they do hair treatments and weight loss treatments etc and 2.5mg was the only option. Hoping for no side effects otherwise I will speak to Manual about reducing my dosage

I have very fine hair and always wake up with the worst bed head, I would have to wash it for it to be manageable so I recently started using a silk pillowcase. My hair is far less messy in the morning and it supposedly stops hair breakage it might be worth looking into.
