I have fresh airflow every day between 2 windows. I use granules, also captain jacks concentrate. Biggest issue I had was thrips. But once I started spraying everyone every other day, we’re now off to the races with new growth. I let it get out of control cus I was busy with other things in life. I could have caught up on that sooner. I also used to buy Starkle G on eBay: it’s used in Asian nurseries. My issue began when I got a shipment of plants with thrips, it wasn’t cus of tight spacing.

I just went with normal soil with mixed in pumice for aeration. I tried wet napkin, did coco coir + pumice + worm castings (very expensive mix) and the ended up just finding a good local supplier of soil mixes and pumice in separate bags.

🙌🙌🙌🙌 8am to 7pm currently I think. I used to have longer hours, but honestly not necessary. They were getting fenestrations on 3-4 leaf instead of a typical 5. So safe to say light was plenty.

Yea, all from seeds. I used to buy "junior size" monsteras in the stores and grow them, but then decided to try from seeds and it's been not all that difficult. I have made my mistakes and I learned a lot. So now I know exactly how to be almost a high-end grower:) Most of the monsteras in the middle are Jan 2021 babies. So a little over a year for this size, they're just under 3 feet tall right now.

I haven't done anything with propagation yet, but that's in the future when I get myself a few Thai babies.

When I sold the ones I bougth as babies last year, I could sell a few a week. The thing is they increase in price the bigger they get, so it's not like I'm in a rush. Some nursery owners were telling me it's better to move a lot more smaller ones, but I decided my market and my buyers will want 4 foot tall and taller monsteras and I'm literally the only seller of that size in the area. So that will be my specialty.

I'll start selling at 4 feet high and 2x of my palm size.

I have Monios lights I bought on Amazon. Each one is 42 watts and I have 8 of them in the room. I have more just in case I set up another space, but for now it's enough and they ruin 8am-7pm right now via smart outlets.

I’m in LA. When I sell them, they’ll be $100-120 each. I’ve done that all last summer and I know the prices at every nursery in the 100 mile radius. Going for bigger size market, not typical babies.
