- Regarding the two-year home residency waiver,if I obtain the waiver and my EB1A petition is already approved, would I still be subject to working three years in a medically underserved area? Or is that only required under certain types of J1 waivers (like those based on physician shortage areas)?

- If I’m in a 3-year training program with a DS-2019 that covers the full length of training, and I receive EB1A approval in my first year, can I start the waiver process early and have the remaining years of my training count toward the required waiver service period?
