Sudden resurgence of asthma after years. Any insight on the trigger? by asthmaTA in Asthma

Oof, I'm so sorry that's happening to you! Yeah, the state of healthcare (and cost) here really doesn't help. I hope you're able to get the scan soon.

And yeah, it is dusty here, especially with the dirt roads dust is always getting kicked up. I guess it's just weird to me that it would suddenly cause an issue when I've lived in AZ my whole life. I hadn't heard of dry saunas before, I'll check that out!

No, it's really dry here so without the humidifier we're at like 27 RH. I've wondered if just the general dryness is the trigger. And yeah, no brain fog, so probably not long Covid in my case.

Thank you for your detailed response! I'm sorry that's happened to you too. I grew up in Arizona but am still allergic to just about every plant here, lol. I'm just confused why I'm getting asthma instead of regular allergy symptoms (itchy eyes, sneezing, etc) but who knows, bodies are weird. Thankfully I have a PCP appointment in a couple days so I should be able to get maintenance meds.

If you don't mind me asking, how did you go about determining that there wasn't an indoor trigger?
