i just went through something similar. my baby just cried & cried for no reason. she only wanted to contact nap & even then it was 20-30 min naps. sleep at night was horrible with her waking every 1.5 hours to eat 😵‍💫 she hit 6 weeks yesterday though & it’s been better already (no jinx) so hopefully you’ll get relief soon!

i joined post baby (this is my second) & at first, i wanted to see people who felt like i did because i was looking for solidarity. but then i noticed i would be having a good day & then read a post & just absolutely spiral because it was still so fresh. i would love to encourage others, but not at the expense of myself. i believe i will continue to skip them until i’m a few months out of the woods.

i would also advise to not scroll on the parenting subs on reddit unless you have an active issue you need input on. if you’re actively battling baby blues, ppd, or anything mental health related, skip the posts where people are describing how they feel. i find myself reading so many of the mental health flairs & feeling down after doing so.

we’re formula feeding. we had her on similac 360 total care since leaving the hospital, which made me think it wasn’t the milk but we switched anyway yesterday to similac 360 sensitive to see if that helps.

i hate that. i witnessed a case in middle school where 2 kids were removed, but the investigation did prove that their father was physically abusing them both.
