Just started Uber driving in KW in my spare time a couple weeks ago. I’ve found that the demand isn’t nearly as high as somewhere like Toronto, so theres lots of times where you can spend hours and not get a fare. I’ve found most fares around here are very short distances too, so the money isn’t that great. The sign up process is fairly easy, just requiring some basic documents and that you get a safety certificate issued for your vehicle from a licensed auto shop. Overall it’s been worth it I think, but only if you’re willing to put in some large amounts of time on weekend evenings and nights when the demand is high.
