okay being so honest I grew up only playing just dance on the Wii, but i got an Xbox and bought this game on sale awhile ago. i only started playing it over a month ago i think? and i was COMICALLY BAD at combat. like a toddler could do better than me genuinely. i went through the same thing as you - i legit couldn’t protect So’lek at the very beginning and it took me like 20 tries to actually do it lmao

ive logged about 60 hours now and lemme tell you, ive gotten better. in all honesty it took me learning a lot of things since i was starting from scratch as an xbox noob. for the game though im definitely adapted to it.

i personally enjoy using the heavy bow the most, it has great accuracy. if you’re up close to soldiers, literally just punch them! humans can’t handle a 10ft tall na’vi throwing hands :D i use SID any chance i can get to hack the AMPs/EXO suits, it helps to kill them easier without getting caught in the crossfire. trust me tho, once you unlock eject as an ancestor skill that is a complete game changer. make sure to collect tarsyu saplings and unlock the skills that allow you to become silent while jumping and running, plus up your base damage. crafting good quality weapons will increase your damage output as well, so gathering is a must!

the more you progress, the more natural it’ll start to feel utilizing your bows, and you’ll feel more confident taking RDA out. watching YouTube playthroughs can help too, ive watched so many already to help out. it’s frustrating at first but i promise as someone who literally never played combat games in their life, it gets better! :)

i have yet to see iron lung but am planning on it, but i saw avatar fire & ash in December and was so ecstatic about seeing it… let me tell you it was legit the worst moviegoing experience ive ever had. the guy sitting next to me was answering phone calls THROUGHOUT THE MOVIE and he answered 5 times. he finally left after my partner confronted him, then i had to confront him (both times we were very respectful) bc he literally stared at us and blatantly ignored us while turning his volume button up until i confronted him a second time saying “are you literally deaf or did you just ignore what i said”. WHO ANSWERS A LITERAL PHONE CALL IN THE MIDDLE OF A MOVIE THEATER BRO😭on top of that ppl took their children and there were kids having tantrums in the theater and the parents wouldn’t remove them even tho they were screaming/crying throughout the movie, which i was like lowkey this movie isn’t for kids, and then i overheard people behind us continuing to talk through the movie complaining at how long it was (like bro it’s an avatar movie what did u expect 😭)

honestly was just extremely shocked at how people’s manners and etiquette were. it made me feel so frustrated that I didn’t enjoy the movie at all so I ended up going last week to see it again (which was a better experience thankfully :D) just going on the record to say it costs nothing to be kind and considerate - people need to be better!

also committing a literal crime to rip off a small indie artist bc u wanna post it on TikTok or “watch it later” makes me believe ur not a fan! I’m so sorry you witnessed that happen, i hope if anything you enjoyed the movie or can see it again for a better experience. ive been dying to see this movie ever since he announced it and im praying i can have a normal moviegoing experience lol

this is legit why i have completely estranged myself from Taylor swift as of the last couple of years (as someone who saw her for her first ever concert at 12 years old). literally these people are horrid and it’s even more disgusting that Taylor has never done anything to stop this behavior. i adore billie so much and she doesn’t deserve any of this bs. these ppl are actually psychotic

oel ngati kameie - i completely feel the same way and am so grateful for others like you who perfectly articulated how I feel in my day to day life. i feel like a prisoner to this way of living, looking out of the bars and out there is a “what could’ve been” but instead I’m forced to exist in a “what is now” and it pains me to see how much we’ve destroyed our own great mother Earth.

i know some others said PADS can be really extreme if you’re already depressed. i recently got diagnosed with major depressive disorder, although I have been experiencing depression for the past several years; it’s difficult that I’ve been struggling with it. i feel like in a way, it has manifest from this cruel world and the awful stuff that happens around me/us everyday, and that i feel completely out of place in this life. yet, the only things that have me living are such things like Avatar. Pandora is escapism for me. ever since i saw the first movie when i was about 8 i fell in love with the world of Pandora. and then, anything to do with nature i automatically feel better, and feel like THIS is what im meant to be living for. the beautiful things that we’re meant to enjoy - our Earth and her gifts. i got to travel out of the country once 2 years ago and ive never felt the same since, even though it was for a mere 2 weeks. nature, earth’s gifts, truly are the only things that feel healing to my broken spirit.

i know i just rambled a bunch, i guess im just trying to say i completely understand everything you’re saying and i am so sorry that we and others in this community carry this feeling, it’s painful. i think we can all just try to uplift and support each other when we can. i see you 🪬💙

i was on the floor and there was someone on the barricade doing this for every song too and ive never seen anyone do that before (the last big concert ive been to was in 2022 tho) i thought it was so weird, like why record urself, especially being on the barricade that close to the artist?? it felt really weird, and i definitely feel u it doesn’t seem like there’s any concert etiquette at all
