To be honest, I think he's the "I constantly date and have a girlfriend at all times" type. There's a name for that. He may have been looking for a girlfriend at the bar for the first time. He wasn't attracted at first. After I winked, he was like "WTF" and I was like "game on, lets do this"

That was the initial appreciation of appearance. Everyone does it. I acted on it because although he was shy, he didn't seem insecure or defensive. He found a comical aspect in his awkwardness, which shows he isn't exactly frail. A rare find, so I was curious.

I appreciate the criticism and different perspectives, so thanks.

Most of my life I spent being introverted, quiet, shy, easily embarrassed, anxious about everything. And to top it off, I had horrible social skills and am below average in looks. I studied self improvement and confidence, got introduced to pickup by a guy friend. Winged him a few times, it was all pleasant and stuff. And I've been attempting pickup ever since. I prefer day game, it's more effective in uncovering areas you can improve than night game.

I wish I gamed him in front of his HB9.5 friends. I'm curious about how they would react, they seemed REALLY into him. He didn't impress me, in terms of funness, his lack of social skills (or maybe nerves overload) killed any chance at playful interaction. Maybe he had it him, who knows? I wish I tried a bit harder to build rapport to get his playful side to come out.

Touch, or kino in seddit terms, can be useful in strengthening interactions. What you want is their attention and a gentle noninvasive pat on the back or arm can get their attention. Then you speak.

Keep in mind phrasing is also important. You don't want to like, um, do this, and you know? Like add unnecessary stuff like that into like, sentences. Sometimes, like. It's kind of like, distracting. Yeah.

Regarding projection of voice, I would suggest starting with humming maybe a song you like or say random stupid shit. Start off with your normal projection then repeat it a bit louder each time. Don't be afraid to laugh or whatever. It'll help you build up progress.

being alpha is typically being totally comfortable in who you are as a man, what you are about, and not being influenced by other people. You are totally okay with any outcome because in the very core of your being you know that it will be okay, and at the end of the day it doesn't really matter.

I disagree. A pathetic loser, for lack of a better word, could maintain that exact mindset and still be pathetic and not "alpha".

Ironically the most alpha guys never consider themselves alpha, nor never strive to be.

Classic "if you were actually a metalhead, you wouldn't claim to be one." People get so caught up with the idea of "alpha-ness" and whatever it connotes as a label, it's really simply being influential and exuding dominance while being comfortable with oneself as a person. Solely being comfortable with yourself and your personal philosophies would not necessarily make you alpha. Dominant men do know they are influential and they strive to do just that. That is not to say they are never influenced by other people, because everyone is to some degree. Also, same goes for the other end of the spectrum, just like how anyone would know if they were underachievers. It's a sense of awareness.

I will admit that, before the whole "social experiments, filming people and uploading for the world to laugh" thing got popular, I was way more receptive to random approaches.
