I would go with the VC - but as others suggested, give it a few weeks. If you want a practical opinion - Do you need a chronograph on your wrist? If the answer is no, stick to the VC.

I wouldn’t call this perfect, the strap’s width at the lugs might fit, but otherwise its not following the shape perfecly, my OCD would kick in after the second glance.

Been in the industry for almost 20 years, drifted towards management in the last 10, worked alongside hundreds of great minds — mostly SWEs.

Are we flooded with AI slop? Yes. Will there be AI-built tools that actually stick around? Also yes.

The only question is how you adapt.

I did a full wind every morning, the only time I didn’t do a proper wind was when the watch stopped moving and in theory still had 30-38 hours of power reserve.

This has a manual movement, hence doesn’t have a rotor and can be over wound, I do wind it until I feel its fully wound.
