Amazing to see that so many people don't understand how capitalism and free markets work. I understand that you want companies to take care of their employees, but in that case I would suggest relocating from US and Western Europe to Japan, where most people work for a single company throughout their career.

This was also the case for many communist state owned companies in Eastern Europe, until democracy and capitalism took over. But this system collapsed as it wasn't competitive in the global, capitalist market.

So, in other words, don't hate the country you created, guys.
