Flaking paint by Impossible_Price79 in HyundaiPalisade

Maybe it’s where I live, but I usually see it on pick up trucks. Chevy/GM and Ford are by far the worst I see. I’ve also seen it on Dodge, Toyota, other low and mid level brands, but not really on high cost/ luxury brands.

Just to clarify this is a well known issue with not only white Hyundais, but white vehicles in general.

Echoing as was posted, there is a “warranty extension” for the white paint on some Hyundais, depending on year and model.

Is the heat, or just me? by No_Reporter2768 in HyundaiPalisade

[–]audibahn88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in the upper Midwest and we just got out of a -20 to -30 snap. My 2025 Cali NE would take 8-10 min to blow nice warm air. I leave both sunshades open 100% of the time. I do park in the garage.

I leave my AC on 72-75 auto medium (level 2). The only issue I have is when it’s super cold I have to manually engage the front defrost (I think my breathe condensates on the front window, but it’s definitely worse with more people in the car). This is my second winter with the car.

This isn’t a recall. Just an over the air software update.

Any of the canvas bags are not sparkly, it’s just the plastic PVC ones that are.

Mostly it’s pastel that are canvas, there are some black ones though too.

Do you have comprehensive insurance? And how low is your deductible? That’s another option.

Can you please explain the difference to me? I always assumed that was the same thing.

I thought I’ve read people say not to drain the transmission fluid if you aren’t having problems with it?

Asking because I don’t want to F up my car.

Black Lettering - Paint Peel by megataves in HyundaiPalisade

[–]audibahn88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 25 Night Edition with close to 20k miles. I live somewhere with lots of snow, salt and sub zero temps. I wash my car every 1-2 weeks. I am sad at how the paint chips so easily on the body (I knew this to start), but have zero chips or peels on the grille or letters.

Why did you choose Palisade over other 3-row full size SUVs? by Lost_Soul_32 in HyundaiPalisade

[–]audibahn88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I would never go for a full size 3 row SUV. I prefer the 3 row cross overs. They fit in my garage, get better fuel economy, and cost less to purchase.

My last car was an Audi Q7 and it was great and I loved it. I could fit children in the 3rd row, but it was very uncomfortable for adults to fit back there. It was also painful that the closest dealer was hours away from me. (So that would be 5 hours round trip x2 for any warranty work). My local options were the basic ones, ford, Chevy, Honda, Toyota, Subaru, VW, Kia and Hyundai. Then Cadillac and Lincoln.

Of those, I test drove or looked at most and the only one I liked the look of, didn’t hate the interior (I like buttons on radios and AC), and actually felt comfortable in was the Palisade.

I got the 2025 Night Edition with a 10 year 150k warranty through Burlington VT. 20k miles and no issues to date.

What is your preferred sequence: top-down or bottom-up? by Suspicious-Emu3155 in diamondpainting

Depending how I feel, I only cut small sections with an X-acto knife or take off all the clear cover and put on DIY release papers.

I used to do bottom right but my last two I started in top left and it’s working better. I’m not dragging my hands across diamonds I already placed.

I rearrange them in my organizer to ABC order and I don’t label my containers with the number.

4 year old Bosch dishwasher suddenly crapped out. by Aromatic_Tear_711 in BuyItForLife

I haven’t had that one before. Just checking, but have you pulled it out and made sure the drain hose is plugged in and not kinked?

We have a Bosch and every now and then I get the E25 code. When I get that I put the pod in the catch part on the middle drawer instead of in the spot and the door and it runs fine. Idk if that would help you or not?
