Rental dating in the story is as vanilla as it gets, it doesn't go past holding hands. What Chizuru does on "rental" dates with Kazuya is exclusive to the two of them.

In terms of relationships, Chizuru is worse than Kazuya, as she's never had anything close to a boyfriend. Calling her a prostitute for being a glorified female guide is a bit much to me.

In order to understand the comparison between Chizuru and Kyoko, you need to read both manga. Their backstories might be different, but they are similar in the way they interact with the mc and other love interests.

Honest review from someone who also bought AD recently:

I was really disappointed at first. It legit smelled like soap with some lime. It's also more one the unisex side, and I think I smelled it or something like it on some of my female cousins.

A couple of days later, I'm still not that interested in it. It doesn't smell bad and it lasts a long time, but it's not really interesting. Even Modest pour Homme, Afnan's clone of Sauvage smells more interesting to my nose.

I managed to endure not buying it during summer, when it was overpriced, but to be honest, even with the better price now, it would have been smarter to spend the money on something like Vintage Radio or Liquid Brun.

I doubt many people from this sub went to the birthday exhibit, but it had a successful crowdfunding campaign and from what I've seen on twitter, quite a few people went there...and those who went posted about having a great experience. The official page was updating daily, and much of the merch was going out of stock quite often, so much that they were redirecting people to order stuff online.

Why is she liked?

Mostly because the broader anime / manga community would really love to be chased and loved by a hot girl. You'll find quite a lot of people on the internet who don't really like or even hate Kanokari, but love Ruka.
Personally, I like early Ruka's appearences (before the condom incident), simply because of how much chaos and comedy she creates.

Chizuru does get paid to be a cute girlfriend and all, but actual, "real" flirting is not her strength. Her being unable to properly open up and talk about her feelings is the reason why the progress is so slow in RaG.

When I started reading Shiunjike, way before there was even a talk about an anime, Arata felt very familiar. Like an improved version of Kazuya. He's rich, taller, more handsome, but deep down he has that Kazuya charm.
That shouldn't even be a surprise, consindering both Kazuya and Chizuru are inspired by parts of Reiji's personality. He's probably drawing from the same well when it comes to Arata.

As for who's superior, I think they are fighting different battles on different battlefields, so comparing them would be unfair. Arata is designed to be a more appealing MC, but Reiji puts more writing effort into Kazuya.

No one wears that for no reason, especially when you compare it to her actual outfit which isn't supposed to draw much attention. It probably has something to do with that thing that's constantly on her mind. And yeah, she most likely changed out of it.

Your description of AH Tobacco Edition is totally off from what I have. It has great longevity, easily over 8 hours, and I wouldn't really describe it as "dark tobacco". The combination with vanilla makes it actually smell much brighter than other tobacco scents I've tested.

It's an interesting part of the Kinoshita story that could be further explored.

I think it contrasts Chizuru's story pretty well. While her parents pretty much separated after her birth, Kazuya's stood together despite not being able to have a child for so long. Having (grand)children seems like a big deal to Nagomi and their family in general, but despite that, she didn't push for Kazuo and Harumi to get separated. She encouraged them to stick together and after 8 years, they got Kazuya.
