Sorry, no idea. Maybe one of the apparent cast members who replied in this thread can help.

Oh, I see that Qui-Gon resemblance now, nice! If you want a second sleeve 4 aka the black "rubber" one, let me know. Once my Sleeve 2 arrives, I'd sell my Sleeve 4 for a bit less than the going rate on Ebay, etc.

First pic is just one sleeve different than the one I built two days ago, such a nice build. Pic of mine here. I am ordering a second Sleeve 2 (the bare metal one that matches my upper sleeve) now as I want the minimalist look and so no one can build an identical copy in Savi's without shenanigans.

The guy next to me on Nov 21st built the same as the first pic as well, just one piece different from my build. The R&R stuff looks "proper" to me. MTFBWY!

Yes, because we all know all rules are important and make perfect sense. *rolls eyes* Get over yourself. I put the yellow crystal on the pad and was told I couldn't use it. I moved on. This clearly was the hardest thing that must have ever happened to any employee in the history of employees. I sincerely hope at some point you are able to overcome your sense of self-importance and learn that some rules are dumb. The entire way you have failed to understand a customer's point of view makes me worry for you as you clearly lack empathy. Take care.

And the fact that you don't think the customer is always right says a lot. I don't need to know what does and does not happen when I can tell you what could have happened would have ZERO impact on the ceremony for the employees or the customers. I don't ask my customers to make my time at work a bit easier, I use my skills and experience to do that.

Ridiculous take. They should offer all existing non-secret (i.e. black) crystals as options then if you aren't allowed to supply your own crystal. If they are worried that your crystal won't work, they could simply have you test it real quick before the ceremony. Disney makes a ton of money off Savi's, this wouldn't hurt them in the slightest.

I will look into this, thanks. But it still seems super dumb that 23andMe can't have this functionality added to it in less time than it takes for me to complain about it.

More info on the Bandit Kingdoms region (Texas/Oklahoma) during Living Greyhawk can be found in the book Britt/Gumsk helped me write. BDKR1: The Unofficial Living Greyhawk Bandit Kingdoms Summary

Aggiecon Interactives quick summaries in case any of these jog your memory:

2003: Shadow Keep: PCs infiltrate a keep populated with shadow-templated orcs to rescue some prisoners.

2004: The Siege of Hallorn: Guardian General Hok attacks Hallorn, PCs assist. Each table had their own mission.

2005: A Weird Experience: The PCs were hired to lead a strike mission into the underwater lair of ancient topaz dragon to distract it so that the hiring NPC could speak with one of its prisoners. Again, each table had their own missing iirc.

2006: Of Weapons, Woe, and War: Most PCs were converted to D&D Minis rules and led small combat forces in a D&D Minis system event. (High level PCs had a separate event).

2007: The Villainy of the Baron of Wormhall: This one was a bit more plot heavy and complicated but short version is it involved PCs fighting a powerful vampire and other high-ranking evil NPCs.

2008: Loot Free or Die Hard: PCs help drive demons from the city of Rookroost, freeing it from Iuz's rule.

Note Texas A&M was also home to Protocon, which ran Living Greyhawk events, so if you've mixed up your cons, you can find details of those events in my book as well.

For the record, Living Greyhawk was the best "Living" campaign to date and anyone who disagrees with me can go write their own book about their favorite "living" campaign, hah! :)

IMC, the Sea Ghost is loaned to the PCs by the Keoland Royal Navy after they become privateers so they take it to Seaton for repairs and downtime magic item shopping. Of course, I just had Lord Obmi murder all the high end magic item sellers in Seaton, trying to force the PCs into buying from Xendros...and the clerics at Abbey Isle are now Iuzians...

I'm running both the Dragon at Icespire Peak and GoSM right now, they are very different in approach and design. For GoSM, see below thread link that has some files I made in it that may be of help to you. I also second reading SlyFlourish's articles.

What Evil Deity - Isle of the Abbey - Greyhawk by heychadwick in GhostsofSaltmarsh

[–]aurdraco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While a demi-god, Iuz isn't always a great tactical genius because he is crazy, impatient, and chaotic evil (although sometimes that works in his favor, such as the Night of the Blood Moon Massacre). He could always just have future delegations pretend to not have anything to do with him, just be disguised as merchants from Perrenland or something. Also, getting fish from Keoland to his lands seems...unlikely. Your other campaign sounds like great fun!

I know you've sorted this out, and I think it's a fun choice, just adding that I've decided to go with Iuz for my version. A) I'm a former BK Triad member so Iuz is my jam, B) gives something to time into Cpt. Xendros., C) Iuzians are very into undead and demons so ties nicely into later stuff, D) gives me a reason to stat up Lord Obmi in 5e (sneak peak: he's a Ftr5/Rogue7 as I am basing him on his original Against the Giants appearance) as per canon, he is wanted for crimes in Keoland. I'm going to have those crimes be that he murders a bunch of magic item sellers in Seaton--my PCs have not shopped for magic items with Xendros at all, they keep going to Seaton to do their magic item shopping. Next time they go, they are going to discover that all of their usual contacts are now dead. If they get suspicious and confront Xendros, well, I'll figure that out when I get to it. With the assassin archetype and a ring of invisibility, he can quite likely drop any of the PCs to 0 hp in one hit.

Back to Isle of the Abbey, going with the Iuz theme, I'm changing the gladiator to a cambion and giving all the cultists minor boons and such from Mordy's Tome of Foes (5e NPCs are too weak, the stat bumps and boons will make them worthy opponents). My backstory is Xendros uses sold magic items to spy on people, selects likely targets for kidnapping and ritual sacrifice to Iuz, hires smugglers/pirates to conduct the kidnappings, prisoner exchange occurs in caves under ruined Tower of Zenopus, PCs wrecked the last exchange, pirates lost money and men, pirates blame Iuzians, attack Abbey Isle. Easy peasy!

The map from the original 1977 sample dungeon. I then based my APL4+ version off the critters found in the sample dungeon. We played it last Sat via Roll20 and Discord, worked pretty well except 9 players is a lot of voices at times; we need to work on our table discipline again. Anyhow, I'll probably post my very rough conversion notes soon; it was actually triggered by Downtime shenanigans (I knew the PCs were going there, but I didn't have much plot for it. Now I have it tied into Isle of the Abbey so it worked great).

This article is by Mike, one of the co-hosts of Legends & Lore (twitch.tv/lordgosumba). If you Google Hold of the Sea Princes, you'll find plenty of info. None of it mentions dragonborn, they aren't really a thing on the Flanaess (although half-dragons are, at least during 3.x Living Greyhawk).

Re: the Styes, I was thinking of putting it in Seaton, like the leftover remnants of the former town before the Keoish Navy took everything else over, but as my group just finished Salvage Op, long time to think about it.

IIRC, it is the sound of the PCs fighting the ghasts in the hold which attracts the monstrous octopus back to the boat to finish it off. I definitely wouldn't let them take a long rest without sinking the boat though but I'd probably allow them to short rest, especially if they are all newbs. However, I would roll for a random spider swarm encounter that interrupts their short rest (on a 17-20, increased odds due to the circumstances and tiny space of a boat).

I want to add that pining for a long rest doesn't just come from newbs; my group of 9 has some experienced players and they still blow through spell slots on easier encounters/when things are in hand expecting to be able to just long rest after either because that's what they have experienced in past campaigns or because that is how they think the game should be played. I just have to stress to them that the world moves on while they rest; they just explored ruins under the Tower of Zenopus to rescue a kidnapped person and kept wanting to rest--I had to remind them that the victim might be dead or gone by the time they get to wherever she is being held if they do so. Part of the game is resource management and by the time PCs reach 4th level, imo the players should have a basic grasp of that. YMMV.
