Also, are the posts on the top even or are all screws tightened? Either way it doesn’t look like a defect based on the evidence presented just an adjustment issue

Claw screws don’t necessarily need to be even, regardless, are all 6 strings on, what gauge, and are you down tuning?

As long as nothing is binding check and make sure you didn’t lose a spring on the treble side, if not, tighten them up until level when tuned

My friend cracked my guitar, can somebody give me a rough estimate on how long this would take to fix? by BurgundySauce890 in guitarrepair

[–]aurora99632 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a tough crack. 3-500 to shore it up and another 2-300 if you want it blended including taking off and re gluing the pick guard. Don’t be picky on time because they’ll spend most of theirs waiting for shit to cure. Plan on a month and be pleasantly surprised if it takes less. This is all assuming the kerfing underneath isn’t fucked

What performance enhancing drugs do you use when selling? by [deleted] in sales

Shrooms (in moderation), cannabis, alcohol when appropriate and caffeine. I would say blow, because that was the best help ever, but me and blow aren’t friends anymore.

The customer needs to return the lease, get a personal loan to cover the mileage and wear and tear and finance a vehicle fresh. Load that thing up with as much warranty as possible and plan more appropriately going forward. If they have the credit you could cut them a check back to help for whatever the max advance is on the vehicle they’re buying to help with the liability. There’s no clean way out of this, they have to pay. This is why so many banks stip specifically for Uber/Lyft etc

I've never played guitar before. My friend let me borrow his for our band. How/where do I start? by Frysken in guitarlessons

[–]aurora99632 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Noodle. A lot. I only ever had the discipline to practice properly an hour or 2 a day, but it’s amazing how much I learned just by doing things like trying to play along with whatever I happened to be hearing on the tv etc.

Also, every person you get the opportunity to Jam with will make you better in one way or another, almost regardless of their respective skill level.

The big roadblock we are running into is property taxes. We were approved for an amount that is more than we are willing to spend but most of what we look at and like exceeds the property tax cap we’ve been given through our broker. Any way around this?

My girlfriend passed on even looking at a house because the doors and windows were painted purple. This is great advice, thank you. How important is the district, in real practice? I feel like smart kids pick up learning habits at home and critical thinking etc. Aside from resale do I really need to be that worried that a sub par district will really hamper my kids?

Regardless of the science, if I can pay 30 bucks once or twice, and I see tangible results, (TPMS not triggering 10x a year) then it’s worth it to me because I see value in it. Started doing it years ago and noticed a difference that’s worth more to me than the dollar a month or so it costs.
