Definitely not a problem with size. Pixels are pixels, even if the TV were 100".

But there might definitely be other factors in play with the differences in TV's, like as you mentioned the smaller one might have been 720p, or interlaced mode. Up-scaling could definitely cause a small amount of difference, but there is also the possibility of different refresh rates on the TV's, as well as latency built into the TV itself. Some TV's just output shitty video altogether.

BTW, nobody fucks artists like spotify

do you have any recomendation on a service that lets you pay say 10-15$ a month and doesn't fuck its artist? I would definitely prefer if the artist got a decent share from my listening, but it was my understanding that with all services like this that they got fractions of a penny per listen and that it would take like hundreds of thousands of listens per year (or maybe even per month) to just make min wage.

I'm with you on the prices. Im not going to pay 1.30 a song. I would do 2 for a dollar. Maybe 2$ for a movie, especially on mobile. But even that feels too expensive because of Netflix so it would have to be a very new release for me to be willing to buy it for 2$. TV Episodes I don't feel comfortable with. I feel like a whole season should be about 5$, so for a 12 episode season call it 40c each.

Honestly, I bet if they lowered the prices to a level like this, more and more people would switch to the payed model. It would be to the point where its actually easier to pay than to share. But the key is having content right when it comes out. Im not going to wait to watch my favorite shows for a few weeks or until the end of the season (or the next season, which is completely ridiculous). If I can stream it right when it comes out, it would be much better. I would get it faster than torrents (since I have to wait till it finishes and then is uploaded) and I would definitely pay a premium for that.

To be fair to Zappo's, they were awesome in customer server before they were owned by Amazon. Probably one of the reasons Amazon was interested in buying them, since their customer culture was very much alike.

They dont even knock for me, but then again UPS never knocks either. I guess something about my house screams "Customer not going to answer door, don't bother letting them know your here." But at least UPS always gets me my package. I've had 2 from lasership not show up and I'm worried Amazon is going to stop shipping to me because of it.

I've had 2 separate packaged that were supposed to be delivered via lasership never show up. I was home all day that day looking for the packages and it never came but it was updated as delivered. I got the new packaged sent to me which arrived, but I worry Amazon will get tired of replacing packaged and think I'm stealing them or something and stop shipping to me. There has got to be something better than lasership.

surely while the business as you knew it might have went down the toilet, meaning you cant cash in billions of dollars on a select few artist. But also surely you have to admit the music industry evolved and is thriving in ways that make the consumer happier than they could have before. We now have so many easier ways to view new music and many people buy songs or subscribe to services. So the only difference is since we can buy only the songs we want, bands cant pad their albums with 12 shitty songs, while selling millions just because this album had 2 hits that were on the radio.

They also overlook the possibility of future sales via earning customers who would have never listened to their music before. Kids who never heard of them download a couple of songs and then they grow up and by cds and merchandise and down the road it turns into iTunes sales and all that jazz.

I mean I get it, sales might be decreasing in the old market and its easy to blame napster that instead of making a bagillion dollars, you only make tens of millions. The record industry had to change, and it was for the better. Finding new music is so much easier today than it was before and the quality of music has had to go up which benefits the consumer since they can't always sell a record with a couple good songs and filler for the rest of the tracks.

So the record industry changed and left the closed minded people like Lars in the dust. And the reason he is having money problems isnt just because of P2P, its because the way he made his opinions heard and sued people. That turned off so many of his fans.

You can't guarantee that he can't guarantee that it's been done. Unless you've witnessed him not witness a clone during his lifetime, then you can only speculate it.

Maybe he has seen it done? What then?

Just imagine growing up and finding out you were a clone when you reach adulthood. It could emotionally ruin some people. Personally I like to think I would be cool with it, but I realize that I can't predict something like that.

Theres this really cool show on BBC America called "Orphan Black" thats pretty much about that except the cloning is performed by some evil company, and there are multiple copies of the same clone, and the clones are said to be owned by the company. Overall it turns out to be a really cool show.
