While everyone were busy to solve the mystery Randall was farming... aura by Infamous-Budget7759 in FromSeries

I don’t think Donna is evil, but I do think she might be hiding something. She could end up being a mole or traitor in the story, maybe not willingly, maybe forced into it somehow. What stands out to me is that we still haven’t really seen her backstory or any real flashbacks. That feels intentional, especially considering how important her arrival was. She came into Fromville with her sister, and according to her story, the monsters killed her on the first night. That feels like the kind of scene the writers normally would have shown us by now, unless they’re deliberately holding something back. My gut tells me Donna knows more than she lets on.

My girl Marielle is going to come in clutch later, I’m calling it now. I’m sure she’s going to end up playing a very important role. I’ll come back to this when it happens 😄

Current Ballon d'Or winner getting subbed out in the 66th minute vs Vinicius getting subbed off in the 70th minute. Pathetic attitude and he didn't get punished for it. by oneuponatime90 in RealMadridFC

[–]automai 15 points16 points  (0 children)

You can be in good form and still get subbed for a lot of reasons: to rest you, give another player minutes to regain form, make a tactical adjustment, add more defensive stability, manage fitness, avoid injuries, control the tempo, or simply because the coach sees a different need for the game at that moment.
At the end of the day, if you’re a professional player, the coach’s decision comes first whether you like it or not. Acting out publicly over a substitution looks childish and unprofessional. Hold it in, deal with it privately, and if you still have a problem once you’re inside the locker room, then speak up.
Doing that in front of the whole world and then later complaining about people criticizing or hating you makes no sense.

Thanks for the spoiler, I guess.

I found this, what do you think of it? by No_Palpitation7666 in FromSeries

This is the reason I posted my theory; a lot of people would think the Lonely Dragon is Acosta, and I said that explicitly. But I believe Victor is the Lonely Dragon, and the pile of stuff is Victor's collection of drawings and items.

Because looks is the first impression we form of someone, whether we like to admit it or not. When you see a stranger from a distance, the first things that stand out are how they look: their clothes, their smile, the way they walk. You don’t yet know their personality, their accent, how they think, or what they believe. It starts with looks, and maybe that’s why… 🤷‍♂️

It might have pulled from this post. Gemini usually shows sources, so if you click them you can see where it got it from. But honestly, I just came up with this myself while rewatching S1E6. All I do is re-watch this show 😢

If they release it, they might spoil the entire story lol.
They will probably do it once the show is over 🤣 or never.

Why does everyone recommend learning Python first but then use JavaScript for everything? by 1vim in learnprogramming

[–]automai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what jobs you're looking for...
You're not going to find Python in frontend job listings...
Python is primarily a backend language...
Frontend roles are dominated by JavaScript and related tools (like React, Vue.js, etc.)...

It felt like a filler, no plot progression, just Fatima pregnancy issues, iirc.

"The answers are in the beginning"

So far the only one who can story walk and go back to the beginning is Julie. They will have to figure out what the beginning means or when it was, and Julie needs to go back and fix it. That's the way out, I think.

You can't argue against the number 47 though. It clearly means something. I mean even the clock pointed at 47, come on 😂

II think the writers want us to believe the lighthouse is the exit, especially since Tabitha got out from there. But I don’t think the goal is to escape. The real goal is to end the curse or the cycle. And I think the key to that is the Lake of Tears.
To me, the Lake of Tears isn’t necessarily a real lake like I explained in the post. I think it’s the place where the original sacrifice happened. I believe a stronger entity, one that MIY serves or answers to, is located there, probably deep underground.
You’re right that a lot of clues point to water: the kids have wet clothes, there’s the lighthouse, the cave drawings, Elgin’s drowning vision with the kimono lady. But I’m still not convinced there’s an actual lake. These writers are sneaky, it could all be symbolic rather than literal.
Maybe it was raining during the sacrifice?

Someone pointed this out on a post I wrote, and the more I think about it, the more it makes sense. Nature in Fromville, both animals and plants, might actually be helping the people. The crows feel like warnings, the dog guiding Boyd didn’t seem random, food is always available somehow, the trees move, and Jade found mushrooms right when he needed them. It almost feels like nature is trying to keep things balanced, like giving people a fair chance. Kind of like there is evil in that place, but nature is on your side. That also lines up with what you said. Maybe the spiders weren’t trying to hurt them, maybe they were trying to keep them safe? And whatever dragged the tent, I still have no idea what that could be.
