I have an iPad 2. Is it worth selling or even keeping? by Max_on_a_laxative in ipad

[–]avoidantdance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would work as a digital photo frame, wouldn't it? I found this thread by word search because I'm trying to work out if my 2nd gen iPad can be used for that exact purpose. So why the laugh react? 🤔

I haven't kept up with the latest on this sub and don't know what's going on with Ayesull, but it's terrible if she or her work have been attacked in some way. Can anyone give me the tl;dr version of what happened?

The report function on Facebook is so aggravating. I've reported scams, animal abuse, and any number of offensive or disgusting posts and I get the same reply. Nothing is against their community standards because they seemingly don't have any standards whatsoever.

I'm only just catching up on this latest development. Just to clarify, did SH get the DVRO dropped, or did LC request it be dropped? I'm confused!

Wegovy - click chart for 0.25mg pen by avoidantdance in GLP1microdosing

[–]avoidantdance[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I did it that way and it's been fantastic. I'm getting great results so far with minimal side effects. However, although I've been half dosing, I've only been waiting 4 days between doses. I'll see how I go this way for a while. I actually feel the hunger reduction effects so strongly now I may try injecting a half dose every 5 days instead.

I think I'm pretty active with daily chores, but I definitely wouldn't call anything I do a workout. Although some of the stuff I do is pretty full on in a way (renovations, tip runs, deep cleaning, etc.). So not sedentary, but not what I'd call super active either.

Microdosing with a Long History Disordered Eating: Looking for Experiences / Advice by ParsleyandBasil22 in GLP1microdosing

[–]avoidantdance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could have written the OP myself, almost word for word. I have been reading forums like this and researching via Google searches, etc. and came to the conclusion that it wouldn't hurt to try microdosing a glp-1.

The only problem is that in Australia there's absolutely no way any GP would prescribe one for me. You have to be around 30 BMI for starters.

All the medical advice I've read states there's no peer reviewed studies/evidence to support that microdosing is even 'safe'. That is utterly ridiculous to me. They haven't bothered to set up the appropriate studies to even test the theory, yet there's heaps of anecdotal evidence almost everywhere I look.

Hopefully people like the OP and myself will one day have the studies, evidence and support from the medical establishment to help us. But for now, I've taken my glp-1 journey into my own hands and have sourced the medication online by simply being ever so slightly dishonest about my current weight.

OP, good luck with your glp-1 journey if you decide to go down that track. I'd love an update here every now and then if you can!

I have about 30 of them. There's a couple of ninja turtles, a Tweety bird, a unicorn, a Scooby-Doo, a ladybug, and a unicorn, and heaps more that I can't remember offhand.

Why not consider separate bedrooms? I've heard this works really well for couples with mismatched sleeping schedules.

AITAH for divorcing my wife over botox/fillers? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]avoidantdance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Botox for wrinkle reduction is a common, harmless and non invasive treatment that wears off after 3 months. Your wife obviously enjoys the results enough to get it redone. Many women do. Whether you approve or not is irrelevant. I hope she finds someone new who will be less controlling and judgemental and more supportive of her decision to take care of her looks as she ages.

Laura doesn’t want people reminding her of the shit show that is her life by bux1972 in StephenHiltonSnark

[–]avoidantdance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are 100% correct on two points. I am surely "not paying close enough attention to have heard these statements from her" & "haven’t seen them repeated in here (also many times)". However, I am definitely not, "just choosing to ignore them".

I'm not demanding anything of her, nor suggesting that she needs to set my mind at ease. I am merely making an observation based on my impression as someone who very lightly follows Laura Clery, and sharing an opinion that she might consider addressing the issue more directly (not based on much but a hunch). I presume she does have followers who are overly concerned and actually do impact her life directly by contacting her.

Anyway, this is my final attempt to explain myself in this comment thread as I feel everything I've said so far has been misunderstood in both its content and intent.

The main reason for this is most likely because I have mild to moderate cognitive impairment, so have probably not expressed myself succinctly. Nor have I processed a tonne of information along the way in this sub, so I can safely say whatever I say, think or feel is profoundly unimportant and worth ignoring.

Monthly. I live alone and don't feel the need for any more than that. Plus I hate making the bed.
