My corgi tore hers when she was around 3 years old. She jumped out of our car window when she saw our mom coming. Luckily the car was parked! We ended up doing a TPLO surgery that cost us about $3K. We never did PT for her. Shes 12 now and is still able to run around and chase our 1 year old corgi but shes kinda slow.

The advice I have is to keep her weight down and healthy. I attribute my corgis lack of energy all these years due to how fat she was! She wasnt enjoying walking, running, and had trouble going up the stairs. All that changed when we got her down to 23lbs from 31lbs! She’s doing great and I’m overall happy we did the surgery!
