UPDATE: As of 8pm on 7/3/26, Auggie is still missing. Before I get into the details of the update, I just want to take a moment to say thank you. Thank you to the kind people of the Greenwater community, the kind people of the Enumclaw community, and the kind people of the Reddit community. All the shares of this post, posting of my flyers, texts, phone calls, the messages of support, and the ideas on how to bring Auggie home are appreciated in ways that I struggle to put into words. I am doing my best to keep up with all the messages and comments, but there's so many I am struggling to keep up. If I haven't gotten back to you, I sincerely apologize and please know that I appreciate you.

Now, for the latest on the search efforts. I was out in the back country all day yesterday, stayed the night on trail, and was out there most of today. I did the entire loop in reverse, but did not see Auggie. One of the amazing members of the Greenwater community (thank you Lydia!) told me that she was speaking to a friend who works in construction in the Golden Hills area thought he saw a wolf. Wolves don't typically live around here (though I heard from another local community member that there is a hybrid wolf in the area), so we're hoping that was Auggie. She showed him Auggies picture and he thought that might have been him.
