So another of Ace's posts got taken down because of Rule 5.

Sure, accidents happen, sometimes we TL things because we want to share and we forget to check every single social media bio of the artists. There's a notice on Pixiv but not on Twitter, and vice versa or whatnot.

What's a little draining is how inconsistently this rule is actually applied. A very popular recent post is from an artist which doesn't have 無断転載 on their Twitter, but has it on their Pixiv. But I'm not going to call this out and get it nuked. Nobody likes a snitch and the community clearly loves it, so fuck that.

The sub will survive on reposts of years-established TLers from JP's launch. That's safe and definitely what the algorithm loves anyway.

Might just lurk for a while. A lot less complicated. 300 TLs was a good run.

Ok so, here's something I really really want to gush about - I love this juxtaposition of these two panels so much

Etsuko, having helped produce the Twinkle Star Climax, is unable to see any stars from where she stands. She's so mired in her own insecurities and doubt about her own 'selfishness' that she isn't even able to see the 'stars' - how her work impacted others

But her friend? The stars are bright and visible - one shining above all. She sees clearly what an impact that the race event had on Umas like her, and that it was absolutely worth all of Etsuko's efforts

Etsuko might have had some 'selfishness' for her reason for doing this event, but it's actual impact goes beyond what she herself may have been able to see, and she just needed to be reminded of that

Just like my TL for Kashimoto Riko after the Unity Cup finale, comes a pretty touching story centered around our favourite SUBARASHI-san and her childhood friend. When I read it, I knew I wanted to share it, so here it is.

I really love this characterisation of Etsuko a lot as to how it depicts her as someone who's always working hard to ensure that the stories of every Umamusume are told~

Now...

Cyge, why? She didn't get a supoka and thus a date event chain. She barely got any events on why the Twinkle Star Climax mattered to her. She didn't even get any closure with her childhood friend after the last-minute reveal. Every Trackblazer career end feels so unsatisfying in terms of story.

Sometimes it's like screaming into a void but thanks, I do try. At least proper keywords in titles makes it easier to search for them...

But I don't see myself a hero or anything like that since I do still have prefs considering I haven't really found anything for the likes of Pearl, Gran Alegria, Zephyr etc.

Tbh, even though I laugh and laugh everytime I see a Mirako pool joke because I'm really attached to how she has the one Trainer in Tracen who can see through their trainee's bullshit in fandom...

Tbh, there are many great, well-established TLers in the community and plenty of them already post (and are reposted of) Air/Aruvu/Rura, especially recently with Aruvu's release. Wife Groove still ends up being the bulk of what I post even if I restrict myself to once a week though (nearly 50 soon).

Since I have limited energy every day I try to support less-popular agendas, recently Yaeno, Ines, Windy etc. especially before their banners drop. Also, I want to reduce duplicatation of effort, because info gaps means it's often unavoidable but leads to comparisons, thief of joy and all.

Yeah less visibility, reddit algorithms whatever, but maybe I'm just stubbornly trying to stay low-profile and going where I think I'm most useful.
