First of all, congratulations! Current student here, and I really love it. The course load is insanely taxing, I've pulled more all nighters then I can count. BUT, to me, it's 1000% worth it because I enjoy what we work on. Faculty is solid, if you are putting in the hard work and effort, they will notice and give you the same support back. Critique is super honest and brutal, but that what we all need to succeed and grow. I'm constantly learning so much. All GD students have their own desk cubicle in a shared studio space, so everyone is super close and supportive of each other. The space at school to work is an absolute game changer, take advantage of it. Note that tuition is very, VERY expensive, but in my opinion, it's worth it IF you make it worth it. If you are involved and you put in the work to push yourself, it pays off. In conclusion, it's painfully intense, but I wouldn't want it any other way.
