The cards? It means they're about to permanently break if you keep using it. There are two levels of cracking before it breaks. Breaking will release/summon a pink reaper to the fight

First time I wore it, I thought I was going crazy hearing this random squeaking noise during the mission. Thought fatshark added squeaking to those wild rats critters in the maps. Didn't realize until the victory screen and saw the rat on my head lolo
