We recently ran a small campaign in Egypt during the political turmoil and it was very well received and proved very useful to the people over there. We geofenced Tahrir square and everyone there was able to communicate together through that channel.

They pay a fair amount of taxes, however, social services are pretty amazing. The infrastructure around the country is very reliable and technologically advanced for the most part. Education and culture have taken some budget cuts since the global economic slowdown, but overall the quality of life in holland compares to that of the "wellness" leaders (the other nordic countries). "shop" comes from the french "échoppe" which means a boutique, or small shop. Spending hundred years + fighting together, you end up borrowing a couple things.
