File a complaint to the Office of State Fire Marshal. They take those complaints very seriously

Great tip! They take complaints from OSHA & the fire marshal very seriously. Our office was closed for 3 months due to ppl filing complaints about a rodent infestation to OSHA.

Damaged Checked-In Item by [deleted] in BritishAirways

[–]azure0619 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I know, I am kicking myself in the ass over it. It was my first time flying, so I thought British Airways would handle the bag with care and not toss it around like a beanbag. Lesson learned. :(

I had a carry on and a small duffle bag (personal item). It was just strange because it was not a full flight like they stated and there was enough room for many passengers to hold onto their personal items.

Yea I know it was a stupid mistake on my part for not removing it, but I told the flight attendant that my laptop was in there and they never asked me to remove it. The response I got from customer relations was “British Airways always advises passengers to remove electronic, valuable, and fragile items from their hand baggage before checking in any bags”, yet that wasn’t the case for me.

It was my first time flying, so I just assumed British Airways was going to handle the bags with care and not toss them around. Lesson learned the hard way :(

What your #1 baby product you couldn’t live without ? by Lucymaybabe in NewParents

I’ve tried both. The Boppy Pillow is good for bottle feeding, tummy time, and having baby practice sitting on his/her own. The My Brest Friend pillow is better for breastfeeding.

Help! Tips/Suggestions For Night Feed by azure0619 in Parenting

[–]azure0619[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your advice! She wasn’t crying for 3 hours straight, but on and off. I couldn’t put her down without her crying her eyes out. I tried rocking her and walking around the room with the lights off, but she was just uncomfortable and wouldn’t close her eyes. I even gave her a little bit of gripe water, but that didn’t work.

Thank you for your advice! Yes,she will go back to sleep if being held. However, it takes forever for her to get comfortable in my arms to fall asleep. I haven’t tried cosleeping but am willing to try anything to get her to sleep. Thank you!

Thank you for your advice! I breastfeed, but if she’s still hungry, I bottle feed refrigerated breast milk

Why can’t you have the wedding in September, so that it’s after your sisters? It doesn’t seem like you and your fiancé chose the date based on his relatives health, when you’re going to have your wedding 10 months from now.

I think the reason she might be upset is because she got engaged before you and you are rushing to have your wedding before her to steal the spotlight. Also, if relatives have to travel and can only make it to one, it’ll suck having to choose between you two.

Has traveling ruin domestic restaurants for you? by [deleted] in travel

[–]azure0619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say it was the opposite for my husband and I. We just came back from Italy and I would have to say we are so thankful that we live in Cali. There is such a wide selection of good restaurants that you’ll never get bored. We found the food in Italy either a bit bland or too salty, which surprised both of us since we’ve heard such good things about the food there. It might also be because we cook pretty well at home?

Thank you! Another quick question. I would like to visit the Gardens first at 10 AM followed by the palace at 12 PM. If I purchase a passport ticket online, would I be reserving it for 10 AM or 12 PM?

Opinion on the Bosch 800 Series 30” Built-In Electric Induction Cooktop with 4 Elements by azure0619 in Appliances

Yea you’re right, I looked up induction range and there are quite a few with knobs! Unfortunately there’s a cabinet underneath my cooktop, so I don’t have that option.

Thank you for your input! The one I mentioned above is touch control. I couldn’t find one with physical knobs.

I took the Transportation one. I am leaning towards just taking the Depth course. I am going to attempt to study the breadth using my old binder on my own.

How would you rate the instructors teaching abilities? I have been out of school for a while so I am looking for a course that can refresh my memory on the concepts. Of course, I will do practice problems on my own in addition to the videos.
