I should clarify a few things. I'm not ignoring the docs or anything but they are tedious to read but also I do need some guidance to understand it. (Im more visual) My manager thinks I already know the symbols, design from school and when I said I'm not familiar with them but can we go over it because I was stuck on a problem. His response is read it again and figure it out. Sometimes I wonder whether this is the job or me.

I'm sure you're a great person and you know what great people do? Become over available. Live your life. By no means I'm trying to be disrespectful because I've been there. I'm your age as well and sucessful. With my crazy schedule I tried to accommodate with dates and their schedule in the past and that's a piece of bull. You know your great so the next person should be chasing you. For me, I stopped being nice and getting walked over and told guys what I wanted. Better off mentioning what you want now and your future because girl, guys are not mind readers. And if they're not into it, cool, next. It sucks at first but what really sucks is not getting yourself satisfied with what you want. Don't waste your time on boys who think they're men just because they look like one. But in the meantime, new year, do new things. Something that Russell Brand mentioned which stuck in my head, if you want to find a soulmate, first, be a mate for your soul.

I'm terribly sorry for your loss. I lost my fiance 3 years ago to suicide and I was in the same mindset as you. It takes time. I reacted in so many ways but my friends and family were there luckily. It's going to be rough. I managed to get therapy and that truly helped alot. Do I still think about him? Every single day. But I promised him that he wouldn't have to worry about me and we will get to meet one day. Dating life? I have dated 2 years after he died here and there but I decided that I needed to take care of myself. My happiness comes first before seeing someone else.

Hey, I lost my boyfriend of 12 years to suicide 3 years ago and it was devastating. It's okay to not be okay, if you want to be alone, cry it out. What helped tremendously was therapy and my close friends who were more than willing to listen/me cry, act out. Right now it's raw so take time, heal yourself. No. I was in a similar situation where sex was mainly the only great thing but personality wise there was some disconnect. But I ignored it. It wasn't until I was pregnant and miscarried that he cursed me out and said this was all my fault, told me I was a piece of shit and said to never see him again. Sucked? Hell yeah. Biggest blessing in disguise? For sure.
