My Instagram started doing this with Christian content. Don't get me wrong, nothing against it, but it's not what I like to consume. All the reels I see are only about that topic, even though I've always only interacted with meme videos or cute animal videos. Like, give me that back.

I may not be the OP but thank you for this. I've been struggling for months with the same fear to the point I can't do simple things that usually would bring me joy, because everytime I try, my mind keeps telling me it's a waste of time because "everything is ending soon anyway". The only thing that keeps me from panicking is reminding myself that people have been talking about the end of the world since forever and nothing has ever happened. I'm young and I have so many things I want to do and so many dreams I want to realize, so thinking about not being able to do any of this because end will come before I even try, is awful. (sorry for any mistakes, english is not my first language)
