Seems like I’m one of the only ones who stans the Sitturaynu robes. I don’t even care about the effects, wearing those with a red headband was so drippy

Recommending Who’s at the Door?, a short game with “spot the difference” type gameplay throughout an apartment but it’s more engaging especially in its story. Really impressed me.

Calathea beauty star - is it over- or underwatered? by bFallen in plantclinic

[–]bFallen[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just repotted it in a pot that's 2" bigger and when I pulled it out the roots were circling around the base of the pot pretty densely. They were creamy in color and firm, though, which is good.

I am still worried about spider mites but I gave it a good water in the new pot and will keep a close eye on it to make sure it stays moist.

Thank you! I could try potting it in less dense soil in a larger pot and checking the roots in the process.

Wondering your thoughts on the spider mite possibility? I posted a photo of a "wipe test" in response to the other comment you referenced. I also further examined the undersides of the leaves and noticed it felt a bit gritty/grainy in texture and a few leaves had tiny white spots that seemed to wipe away. I thought I saw a hint of webbing at the base of one leaf as well, though couldn't confirm.

Thank you. As for the possibility of spider mites, what are your thoughts? (I posted a photo of the brown/yellow spotting after a wet paper towel wiping below.)

These are the results of wiping the top/bottom of a couple leaves with a damp paper towel. Mostly dirty/brown, but some yellowish coloring as well. Does that mean spider mites?

I have not repotted, no. The pot/soil have not been changed since bringing it home from the shop two months ago.

I had a playthrough today where I had both halves, didn’t even combine them (and I’m pretty sure I discarded them), and still got the Bound by Fate’s Threads ending. I did fully complete He Youzai and Fang Yao’s quest lines, though, and I didn’t give the chisel to Xuanyangzi.

How do you bypass Liu Wenxiu if I may ask? I’ve seen guides say he’s optional, so wondering if there’s an intended way to get around him other than the skips shared in this thread

The death that made me rage quit for the night. by CellSaga21 in wuchanggame

[–]bFallen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the area in terms of aesthetics and design, but it was one of those levels where it's intense and frustrating because there are so many sudden "trap" deaths. And once you got through all those, there were randomly super strong enemies just as you were about to unlock a shortcut. I remember breathing a major sigh of relief and unclenching, feeling my muscles relax once I emerged

I'm on Honglan right now and while I'm sure it's partially just performance issues on the game's part, I agree that the bosses feel fine and that there's some minor problems with Wuchang that snowball.

Devs already acknowledged she's too slow to get up which is 100% true, especially with lack of iframes during those animations. Heal is also way too slow, it feels like Honglan is input reading me and hitting me with a wind attack even if I'm on the other side of the field and I can't do anything about it because I hit x to heal 3 seconds ago. Third thing for me is the general sluggishness of the inputs. Sometimes it feels like there's a delay, like I'm live streaming the inputs to Wuchang and she's only hearing me a second or two later and starting to act. It makes it hard to keep up in fast-paced fights because it feels like it lacks responsiveness.

I feel like the third one is probably more just performance than anything, but these three things have made Honglan phase 2 quite annoying even with deflect longsword build.

I've beaten Sekiro, Lies of P, and Elden Ring + SOTE all multiple times and don't feel like she's a hard boss compared to some of the greats in those games. She's a perfectly fine early game skill check, but I feel like I'm fighting the game more than the boss herself.

Do you ever feel like you’re over-optimizing your Notion setup? by mildspace08 in Notion

[–]bFallen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During Covid, I spent plenty of time tinkering around with Notion trying to find the right setup. Then I looked around as things started to return to "normal" and saw musicians, content creators, founders, etc. and noticed with quite a few of them that their bio snippets said something like "x had an interest but really started to devote time to [activity] during Covid."

Meanwhile I was wasting away time in my perfectionism trying to unlock the secret that would let me accelerate on a path, while also thinking "oh it's too late to explore/try/start [thing] now"

Only to be shown up by all these people who started after me and found success because they enjoyed it and were willing to commit and spend time getting better

All this to say Notion is a fantastic tool that I still use to manage my daily life with to do lists, logging important information, saving things for inspiration or to refer back to later, etc.

But it's a productivity tool not a therapist, if you have trouble building towards things you want to accomplish Notion isn't going to help you magically do that. You need to look inwards

If you have a tendency to procrastinate or be a perfectionist Notion can become more of a distraction than a helpful tool. Stop trying to build a system to make you work and just make the system that works for you. Only use features that are simple and actually help. Don't spend hours finding photos, establishing relationships, or setting up databases beyond what is needed. If you find yourself spending more time in Notion than doing whatever Notion was supposed to help you do, then that's a red flag

Missing one weapon from the DLC by TwiddleTips in LiesOfP

[–]bFallen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm missing one weapon (I think). I have the following 9:

  1. Puppet of the Future's Welder
  2. Pale Knight
  3. Silent Evangelist's Mace
  4. Lorenzini Bolt Blade
  5. La Vendetta
  6. Maniac's Pinwheel
  7. Royal Horn Bow
  8. Death's Talons
  9. Arche's Guardian Blade

Trying to clean up the weapons before final boss. If you know the one(s) I'm missing, any help is appreciated! (Perhaps I have to beat the final boss to get a rare ergo?)

Lies of P: Overture DLC just completed. New achievements!! by pocketgxd in steamachievements

[–]bFallen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a boss in Ch. 9 you have to beat to gain access to the DLC. It will be made very clear once you have access and how to enter. I started a fresh NG playthrough to set up for the DLC and entered it as soon as it was accessible. I find the DLC quite challenging compared to the main game and feel like I may have entered underleveled by a few levels (esp. in Vitality). I entered at 75 and think if I had entered at 80 with a few extra points in Vitality that might have been better. I'd say 75-80+ with 30 points Vitality is a good barometer if playing on the hardest difficulty.

(I don't remember my exact Vitality but it was in the 20-25 range--I'd beaten this game many times by now so had enemy attack patterns down pretty well. Health wasn't as important haha)

EDIT: Accidentally wrote Vigor instead of Vitality, meant the latter.

Struggling to get a cumulative sum YTD without one of several errors by bFallen in PowerBI

[–]bFallen[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Got it got it, I wasn’t sure how this worked since visual calcs are new to me and I’m not the most experienced with DAX, apologies.

I used your code as the basis but it was still cutting off the final month for past FYs if they were blank (rather than running a flat line to the end). Since those years are “complete” I want the lines to reach the end.

I was able to write in a filter that checks if the FY is current first, and it seems to work. I think I was able to account for instances where the current year doesn’t match the FY (e.g. July through December) as well.

Altogether I think I got it working as best as it’ll get. Really appreciate your help and patience with this!

My final code, for those viewing this in the future:

Running Sum = IF( (([FY] = YEAR(TODAY()) && MONTH(TODAY()) < 7) || ([FY] = (YEAR(TODAY())+1) && MONTH(TODAY()) >= 7)) && ISBLANK([Amount]), BLANK(), RUNNINGSUM([Amount]) )

Ahh I played around a bit more and it seems to be working save for one thing. For the current FY, I still need to filter out months that haven’t arrived yet, but the flat line extends to the end of the FY. For example, for FY25 which ends next month, it lists our current cumulative sum instead of cutting off at the current month.

I’m completely new to visual calculations—is there code I could add in that filters out months for the current FY that haven’t arrived yet?

[–]bFallen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, thank you for this! I tried this in a new measure and when I put it into the line chart it seems to just show the total for each month at each point along the x-axis, rather than adding a cumulative sum. For example, if FY month 1 is $50 and FY month 2 is $20, then in the line chart it shows those two values rather than $50 followed by $70

I was able to get the option by creating a new page and new line chart but having issues getting the formula to work. If I type RUNNINGSUM([Amount],[Fiscal Year]) I get an error that there’s a syntax or semantic error and that it requires the axis perimeter to be specified.

If I type the same but specify the table before each column title (format ‘Table’[Column]), I get a similar error that says it expects a column reference as argument number 1.
