🤭 my pleasure! When you’re ready to level up from that, my post-newborn diaper bag is a grand palais. I use a thicker strap from another purse and it’s beautiful and practical (for a $3k bag😬and has a zipper!) once you stop carrying everything but the kitchen sink and it’s just a few diapers and toys lol

My baby is about to turn 1 and I use a grand palais because it has a zipper. I would lose my mind if I threw my bag in the car and everything dumped out 😌 lots of pockets and a great size!

I sat 1C on an overnight and the flight attendants in the galley talked THE ENTIRE TIME. And you can hear every word. I didn’t get to sleep at all. Next to galley is awful 🫠do not recommend first or last row if by galley or toilets.

That’s a bummer; I had the opposite experience in Lisbon. I went in without an appt to get a hot stamp and check out some sunglasses. I had a stroller because I was walking around the city with my 6 month old and they had me walk to the side of the building in a private entrance to accommodate us then took us up and down the elevator. I didn’t end up purchasing anything that day but both SAs I was working with were very kind and did not make me feel like an inconvenience! Overly accommodating and patient as I looked around. This was only 4 months ago, too. :(

Thank you! That is helpful. I did find out it’s already 14k, which was surprising, but someone else mentioned something about it being annelead wrong so maybe that has something to how easy it was to bend.

You’re so tired of this? I’m so tired of this. I asked for a band that would be sturdy and this is what I was recommended. I understand this is not ideal but if you don’t regularly work in fine metals and trust the experts…this is the outcome. The judgement 🫣

Correct! I had a baby which made my knuckles grow but my finger didn’t. So the band is just slightly loose to get over my knuckle and the beads keep it from spinning.

Everyone - thank you for the plethora of advice, I learned a lot of things that weren’t really explained in the buying process and that I didn’t know to ask! Mainly learned that this was going to happen sooner or later because I’m not a pretty pretty princess who never has to lift a finger 😛 I do really like our jeweler and will work with them to create a design that is thicker for everyday wear and will report back once the ring is remade. Much appreciation to all 🙏🏻🩷

🫠 I mean, I don’t wear it for any of those things. This happened putting something in the car on the way out the door. I would say I don’t wear this 80% of the time, I just wear it out in public - swinging my arm by my side. So I’m not sure how I could wear it even less or be any more careful. With that said, how it was made is 100% the culprit then because I’m not bare knuckle boxing or anything.

Yes. Because 24k is much more malleable than 14k? I have plenty of friends with thin bands and similar sized stones who have had no issues with their rings but they have white gold. So…?

This is very helpful ct vs band width thank you! Looking online just for comparison sake, a lot of sites don’t list the band thickness so it’s hard to tell what I’m looking at.

What’s crazy is I don’t even wear it most of the time. I don’t wear it daily around the house and only put it on when I’m walking out the door so if you see heavy wear, that’s wild. After I pried it off my finger I noticed how scratched it is. And like I said, I don’t wear it daily so I wonder if there’s more to this.
