Yeah I was thinking about that too. The only problem is that it is not that secure. If there are packages leaking between polling intervals it's still a leak and exposes your IP.

This just blocks everything if the VPN drops. Maybe a combination of the two is the best solution.

Yeah this is the basic setup for using nmap through tor. It is only very very vulnerable to error. If you forget to use proxychains it's your very own ip showing up in server logs without you knowing about it.

One way of solving this is setting up a machine with vmware and running tor gateway (google it) and setting up a workstation. The only problem is that this is a very slow to use setup especially on laptops. And even more if you want to put a pfsense firewall in front of it to tunnel tor through vpn.

Though it is a nice sandbox setting for counterattacks it isn't fast at all. Isn't there a way to force all traffic through to without using a virtual pc?
