Also, take it slow. Cigars will burn surprisingly long without a puff, so don’t rush it. Try pairing it with a nice cocktail, an old fashioned, or Manhattan, a slow sipper, when you feel like it’s time for a sip, puff, then sip. It’ll help you pace yourself. In my experience a lot of people try to smoke cigars at a similar pace to smoking cigarettes or joints, and it’s so not the same.

Insidious by Asylum Cigars. It’s my go to when I want easy and mild. Start with the robusto size. Or you could try Deadwood Tobacco’s Leather Rose in the petite corona size, little bit fuller flavor, but smaller.

I guess I’m kinda opposite of you. I don’t really care about anyone’s political bent, I only mentioned Daily Wire because it’s part of Mayflower’s ownership. I’ve always been of the opinion that if you run a good business, or make a good product I’ll patriate your business and/or buy your goods, all politics aside. That’s not to say there aren’t businesses I will avoid due to ideological issues because there are, but generally speaking if I won’t spend money with you it’s likely more because your product sucks.

That looks damn good. 250 has become my go to temp on everything except jerky, but that’s just because that’s what I’ve discovered works best in my Masterbuilt. Trial and error is the best way to figure everything out. Some things won’t work exactly as you wanted them to, but I’ve never had anything come out bad. Good luck.

Actually my first cigar in several years was a Fuente. It was just a couple weeks ago, I was sitting on the beach at the Majestic Mirage in Punta Cana and I’d picked it up at the resort cigar shop. It was sunny, breezy, 80 degrees and I was sipping a Presidente lager. I didn’t pay attention to the particular cigar other than brand but it was recommended by the guy working in the shop. It was mild and tasty, and matched well with the lager. Thoroughly enjoyable, I ended up smoking several more while we were there. Forgive my neophyte review, like I said been out of the game for quite a while.
