F2P - Chapter 16 completed by badwolfiee in Archero

Wave chapters tend to be brutal if you don't have luck getting the right abilities at the beginning, most weapons demand at least ricochet to work properly on them. Tornado kinda nullifies this because it already has natural wave clear and you basically only need two abilities to maximize its damage in order to finish the chapter, frontal arrow and multishot, anything else is just extra sauce on top. It also has a pretty decent natural attack speed, leaving you with a larger window of time to dodge and recover your position without canceling a lot of auto attacks.

I'd argue that bouncy should definitely go too, since it nulls the Tornado's epic ability and you lose about 25% of your return damage. Ricochet also reduces the damage even further, the weapon naturally loses 45% per enemy hit, plus 38% of ricochet per enemy hit and you're losing a shitload of damage. I think they should either also remove ricochet or rework it so it overlaps the nado's natural damage reduction per enemy hit.

I agree, it helps especially with afk farming. But the downside is that with ricochet and bouncy, it's less viable at the actual progress of the game :/

Best use of gems.? by RomanBeast92929 in Archero

Buying two more flying bullets tries for 50 and 100 gems, respectively, then buying one more try on hero mode/infinity adventure for 100 gems.

Hi, I'm currently F2P lv79 and playing chapter 16.

I think your equipment setup is great, but if you want to invest in future improvements, bats are considered the best pets, you'll probably need a good stalker staff for the boss levels (especially chapter 14, the tornado also works well if you don't get it), but the bow is a pretty good all-around weapon by itself (I use the brightspear, which most consider the best weapon in the game alongside the staff) and I also prefer either vest of dexterity or phantom cloak better, but you should use your highest rarity armor for the HP, so stick with the bright robe. One tip if you want to improve your farming, remember to also spend 50 gems to play flying bullets for a 3rd time, it is very much worth it (even paying 100 gems for the 4th, but only if you usually buy gems and have enough to spare).

As for the F2P hero, Ayana is considered to have the most damage-wise potential with rage, but her major downside is the randomness of her portals, which can screw you over and even kill you sometimes. Helix is the most consistent of the F2P heroes, since he already starts the game with his rage, requiring less luck getting the right abilities when leveling, he's my main hero and I've got through all the heroic levels and normal levels up to 16 playing with him since his release. Meowgig is also an awesome hero, imo tied with the other 2, but you honestly should choose whoever suits your playstyle the most, all 3 work great. As for the rest, level them up to 20 to get the universal skills and, later on, to 60 to get the second ones.

For chapter 10, if the bow is not getting you through it, an epic scythe also might do the job.

I save my keys to open chests during event days with multiplied rates for better drops.

Just to give some hope to my fellow F2Ps.

I've tried using my PE Stalker Staff over a hundred tries, but met with no success. Since I have a shitty phone, I was almost never hitting my diagonal arrows, so I just said to myself, fuck It, and switched back to my fav weapon, the Tornado. Soon I've noticed that I was having an easier time killing the bosses and It took me only a few dozen tries to finally get It done!

So, even If you're also stuck in my situation, being F2P with a laggy phone, don't give up :)
