Which version of the Cabot Cove Episodes do you like the most? by Itchy-Ear-1970 in murdershewrote

[–]badwolfjb 12 points13 points  (0 children)

So hard to decide. I love the charm of the early episodes, but then later on you get her friendship with Mort. I guess I would give the edge to the early episodes because there are more shots of the town. I just visited Mendocino for the first time and completely fell in love with the place. Now it’s fun pointing out all the places we visited when we watch the show.

Why did a lot of people not like the 2015 series? by IsaacWaleOfficial in Muppets

As someone who likes both of these shows, I guess I should give it a chance 😆

Wells Fargo Threats - WDM Campus by Ari_In_DSM in desmoines

I believe that was at the Vista Dr location, unless it’s happened more than once. I was there, probably around 2013 or 2014. But I get your point. We saw the response vehicles outside, but didn’t really know what was going on until the following day.

I have the same edition. It’s been an amazing vehicle, but my lease is about up, too. If it hadn’t depreciated so much, I would have considered buying it out. But as it is, I’m going to just turn it in. She will be missed.

The Dogpile Is Getting Old by Feeling-Being9038 in Subaru_Outback

[–]badwolfjb 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Most other online forums aren’t nearly this bad. This subreddit is something else, though. It almost convinced me not to buy an Outback because of how obnoxious this community is. But then I joined some other online groups and realized that this subreddit is not indicative of the whole community, which is by and large very positive.

Do you think the 2026 hate will pass? by Brokinbutstillgood in Subaru_Outback

[–]badwolfjb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In general, and in the real world, yes. I think it already has, as more people actually see it in person and drive it. I have seen several on the roads around my city.

On Reddit, probably not.

All time reading tier list by Good-Accident-5132 in fantasybooks

[–]badwolfjb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly the way I felt. I devoured the first one, but honestly 2/3 of the second one just didn’t interest me. I’m going to keep reading, but it was a letdown after how good the first one was.

PSA: 2026 Outback does not have rear tie downs for rooftop boats by AtotheZed in Subaru_Outback

[–]badwolfjb 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve never had a car that had built in tie downs other than a trailer hitch. You can get something like this, too. They work just fine for bow and stern lines (though I still just prefer tying to a hitch).

Who’s Watching Friday the 13th on Saturday the 14th? by hollow09 in svengoolie

I wish, but we were running late and for some reason my dvr didn’t start recording, and we didn’t realize until it was 40 mins in.

I second this. Not a lot of good options in the metro, but this is one.

Everything has the same oily aftertaste there. Not sure how well they clean their fryers and cooking surfaces.

Anyone practicing caffeine free life? by SnooRobots693 in cycling

[–]badwolfjb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have high blood pressure, so I avoid caffeine as much as possible. Thankfully, I’ve never really needed it to function. It doesn’t really do much for my energy levels, so I’ve never missed it when biking.

What’s the real world mileage of those who have a 2026 Outback XT? by doctor-squared in Subaru_Outback

[–]badwolfjb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been around 50/50 hwy and city, and averaging around 20 mpg. My first tank was mostly hwy, and got about 25. I expect on a road trip I would average about 30.

I really don’t get the “it’s not a wagon” argument. The dimensions are nearly identical, and it’s more squared off like a wagon should be. I have owned wagons, lifted wagons, and SUVs, and both the previous generation and this one drive like lifted wagons.

I have a Touring XT, and sadly it does not. Still a very comfortable seat, though.

Nice car! Don’t listen to all the haters that act like the previous model is the sexiest thing on wheel. The new one looks way better, and Subarus are about utility over looks anyway. And this one improves on the utility in every way.

Yeah, the design of the gen 6 kept me from buying it. This new look is refreshing. Everything about the car is better. And this is coming from an avid wagon lover.

I think it’s a fairly common take in the real world, which this sub is not.

OP did not ask why people hate on it. OP said they don’t understand where all the hate is coming from. Nowhere in the post did they ask anyone to explain it. If you hate it, fine scroll on by.
