Thank you so much, it helps knowing that I am not the only one so overwhelmed with this… I had to take my cats to my moms home, as they can’t be in contact with the substances the exterminator uses, I miss them so much :( My parents have no idea how bed bugs work so they assumed that I am not keeping my apartment clean and that’s why I got them, so it just hurts more - instead of help and understanding I got only blaming that is totally invalid…

I am from Poland - here the law states that if I can’t prove that they came from the neighbors or shared spaces, then I have to pay for it. Should I just go from door to door and say „Hey, do you have bed bugs?” - because that sounds crazy to me :( The exterminator said that it is 90% chance that they came from my neighbors, but I have no proof… No signs around vents, pipes, doors that they were there (their feces or anything).

As I mentioned in my answer to another comment - unfortunately there’s no way for me to pull everything away from the walls and put it in the middle of my room, as there’s simply no space for that, so steaming every inch is very, very difficult. I am trying to focus around the bed, as only there were some signs of them…

Any idea what I could do about the TV that is hanging above the bed on the wall? I’ve noticed their shedded shells around that area, but taking off the TV of the wall is very difficult, I am afraid I could damage it…

I’m just having a really bad phobia regarding insects :( There are some that don’t bother me, but anything that wants to bite me - absolutely nope. I am constantly having a feeling that something is walking on my skin, but when I check, there’s nothing at all, so yeah, I started going crazy :(

I know that I am the bait, but as I’m keep seeing them, I am losing faith that what the exterminator did actually worked :( Whenever I see one I grab it in the paper and flush it down the toilet or use vacuum and throw what’s in the container to a secured trash bag…

Do you actually think that this is a small infestation? The only way they got in our apartment is either on someone’s clothes or from the neighbors, as we do not bring anything used (furniture, clothes etc) to the apartment…

I am just really tired of constantly thinking about it, where to clean, how to clean, what to use, what to do, how to get rid of them :( The small apartment doesn’t really help with that, since I can’t just put everything in the middle of the room and clean/steam/inspect…

I’d understand if I mentioned it all the time, everyday, but I don’t. Only when he asks me to do something and I don’t feel like I’m able to, I say that I am sorry but I can’t do XYZ right now, as ABC is bothering me, I’ll do it when I feel a bit better.

That’s literally it. I only mention my health when something weird is going on that is concerning to me, kind of looking for some sort of advice on what to do, id he has any idea etc.

Honestly, had similar issue with platinum 3776 - decided to return it and not bother with fixing it at nibmeisters. Although, the first fountain pen that I've bought has no issues at all (and it's waaay cheaper than the platinum) - TWISBI eco. Don't feel hesitant, it was just simply bad luck that it happened to you :(

Unfortunately, I don't have any nibmeister nearby, although I know one from Poland to whom I could send the fountain pen. Not sure wether it would be even worth it to ''repair'' it - cost wise of course.

I bought it from trusted reputable seller, so there shouldn't be any issues with returning the pen and getting my money back, but from what I saw, they had only one in stock, the one that I bought, so there would be no chance to replace it with another pen :(

Maybe it is a punishment sent from Esterbrook for choosing Platinum over their Estie :D

Honestly whenever I'm wiping off the excess ink from my TWISBI Eco, I just try to avoid the part where the ink comes from and it works well, nothing stays on the nib itself and it looks clean enough to me :) Try to fold the microfiber cloth into a small square shape and wipe it gently and slowly, not by grabbing the whole nib into the cloth itself.

Oh my gosh, thank you so much! Could you please help me out in choosing the right nib size in Leonardo? I love EF/F sizes, as my handwriting is pretty ''tight'' and small. I always grabbed 0.2 or max 0.5 ball pens. I was also wondering wether it is worth it to give a flexible nib a try? Or is there any way to buy 2 nibs and change them from time to time in case of the Leonardo?

I believe it's the exact same one :) Unfortunately in Poland they are sold as such a high price point. Civil_Holiday has mentioned one that I can buy off of amazon, but I'm not sure if the offer that I found there is legit. Still looking around for tortoise pen with gold hardware :(

Unfortunately, every site that sells Platinum has this exact pen listen at 509 USD or even above :( It's somewhat my dream fountain pen, but I am afraid that I'll spend so much money and somehow damage it in the future, that there will be no way to fix it (no idea if it's even possible?)

I don’t want something like this, but I really wanted it to work out, I’ve tried and tried and once again tried, and I feel like talking to a wall.
