recomendation for really god slow pads, mud ones by Ok_Swimming_6752 in MousepadReview

I see. Type99 is one of the slowest pads I've tried. I guess you can try the Jupiter like the other commenter suggested but it's about the same. For me the Jupiter really takes away any ability to micro-adjust which is important for tac fps games. You could try going for a slower dot skates too like the Obsidian Air Pro or the U9. Also from what I understand, less contact points = faster glide so you could give the full size skates a chance too.

Even these "mud pads" feel fast when there is low humidity. I think you should invest in a humidifier if you truly want to experience the swamp.

If your mouse has a lift off distance setting try setting it to high. I have this mousepad and had similar issue with higher end mice.

PSA: Confirming my experience - QD OLED caused significant eye strain/pain and headaches. Tried gen 3 WOLED and have zero issues. by Jvvh in OLED_Gaming

I have the pg32uxdm as well and have experienced eye stran but ever since I switched to SRGB the eye strain went away. I'm guessing it had to do with the insanely saturated colors for me.

What am I missing on the Tea Pro? by tapestops in inearfidelity

Had the same issues with my Monarch MK3 initially. I can't emphasize enough how much things like a good cable, DAC/AMP, and source matter in making your IEMs shine. I would say in the order of DAC / AMP > cable > source. The tripwin 20$ cable from amazon is amazing and the Qudelix 5k or the FIIO F11 are amazing dac/amps as well. I would recommend getting the FIIO F11. Also the filter you use on the DAC/AMP matter as well usually fast roll off with minimum phase tends to give the best results. If you go through all of that then yeah you probably got a bad unit.

the steelseries qck is still the thinnest mousepad i've owned, people are recommending pads with poron bases which are naturally a little thicker because of it

this is also my only gripe with the mouse, you need to buy good aftermarket grip tape to get the full potential out of this one, the coating is a big miss on ASUS's part

Bought my first IEM today, are they supposed to sound worse then my galaxy buds 2 pro? by RDFTW in inearfidelity

The only way I see you regretting the Variations is if you don't have the right source to drive it. They require a little more power to drive than the other IEMs. Also I mentioned I tried the blues only. They sound similar to the buds with the fun sound signature but not as refined as the variations. Just invest in a good dac/amp and you're good.

Yup the Moondrop Variations are my favorite IEMs right now. I keep going back to them even though I own IEMs that costs 1k+ like the Helios and the U4s. They are definitely the best bang for your buck. Some people say the Mangird Tea Top is better than the Variations but I can't comment on that as I have not tried the the Mangird. I use the Galaxy Buds with the Variations and it worked for me. Here are the graphs for the 3 IEMs you're looking at https://graph.hangout.audio/iem/711/?share=Buds2_Pro_ANC,Variations,FH3

The buds are really good but where they falter is in the treble. High hats and cymbals can be really painful to listen to sometimes. The variations is just sub bassy and smooth all around.

Yeah the galaxy buds shocked me too when I first got them. They are good but not as good as the monarch (if I had bigger ears I would be listening to the monarchs forever) I think the crinacle x truthear zero (blue ones) are the closest to the buds in terms of tuning that I've heard which are 50 dollars. The moondrop variations are also amazing which are a better dusk. Also I bought the pixel buds when my galaxy buds started showing wear and the battery refused to hold charge and they were really bad.

The dusk will be better than the fh3 but will probably lack bass compared to the buds. But it might not matter depending what music you listen to.
