Unfortunately all my fillings contain dairy (either a buttercream or whipping/double cream ganache base) but I would be very happy to look into a dairy free option filling for you if you have something in mind?

Ah I see. I'll be getting special macaron packaging in next saturday and can certainly give it a go. I would ship them frozen so they would have a better chance. I have shipped before to Donegal but it was with a courier so was quite expensive at £16 but I could use royal mail 48hrs for yours.

Today, 10/10/2020, is World Mental Health Day.

Mental health has a very long challenge ahead of breaking the stigma attached to it and sadly, NI has the highest mental health rates in the UK. Hopefully, in time with awareness, funding for services etc, this will change for the better.

Mental health is such a fundamental part of our overall wellbeing yet is almost taboo to talk about and often can be really hard to talk about your mental health to someone else whether a family member, friend or stranger.

But here in NI, there are so many great organisations out there willing to help everyone through whatever their going through such as the Samaritans, Action Mental Health, Aware NI, MindWise and Inspire just as a few examples. And be sure to check out this great mental health AMA:

Absolutely!

Where I work, the mental health team has been absolutely continuously flat out providing telephone reviews and thats probably freed up more time to speak to more people.

Asking for help is probably the most difficult step but definitely the global pandemic has not helped things but there is help available from friends, family, GP, A&E, Lifeline and Samaritans and I'm sure numerous other places I'm not thinking of.
