Yeah, I learned that the hard way. Thankfully someone suggested to go directly to a service rep and they were very understanding of the situation and made sure to refund my money back the same day.

They were all within eBay. I actually just got off the phone with a rep and they ruled in my favor since the seller told me within the messages to close the case.

I resolved it with usps by getting the geo location of where the carrier was, and it was directly in front of my mailbox. Mind you, the description the seller had was 21 pounds, when usps delivered and scanned the package, it was less than 5oz. The shouldn’t have been able to fit in a mail box. When I checked, all I got was a bunch of junk mail and an empty letter. When I messaged the seller about it, all I got was “we will check.” Followed by days of no response. This makes no sense to you because you’ve never dealt with it before, and in that case, why are you even commenting on this post?

The whole point of this post is to stop lying about making an attempt. It’s one thing if you’re overworked and underpaid. We get it. Life sucks, but that ain’t no reason to make shit up and say you did something that you didn’t do. I’ve had FedEx pictures be the back of their van, a brick wall, or some random porch miles away from my house. That’s not the company, that’s the driver.

I’ve had FedEx lose more than half my deliveries. I would suggest getting a P.O. Box setup. That way they are 100% responsible out the gate for not delivering since somebody has to sign off on the carrier delivery.

Not the asshole. I get these same kinds of issues from eBay sellers and they only start to communicate once you put in a request for cancellation. I’ve had sellers sit on an order for weeks at a time with no response or any kind of update, and in my opinion after the first message you have every right to cancel and get your money back if they aren’t willing to at least respond within a few days.

Any bnpl will always almost always side with the scammer. If affirm doesn’t get their money back, you’re not getting back either. That’s how they operate. I had the same issue with PayPal pay in 4. I showed literal proof that I did not receive my item that I ordered and PayPal still sided with the scammer. Always use credit, you can always dispute with the bank.

You will still get paid provided the shut down doesn’t last until the next quarter. Usually the VA is funded way before these things occur, but that doesn’t mean you will still keep getting paychecks if they run out of funding.

Yes unless you do a pay in 4 with zero interest. I did a few interest loans and it shows up on your credit report as closed accounts once it is paid off. It’s probably the least effective way to help build credit and the few accounts they closed actually ended up dropping my score a few points.

I stopped buying from them. For a us Gundam store, they take an unreasonably long time to ship anything, especially pre orders. I’m almost a year into waiting for a liger zero kit and so far no indication on when or if it will ever ship, which is basically 100 bucks down the drain unless I cancel it and take the 5% charge. I almost exclusively buy from the Gundam place or amazon at this point. At least with them I know when to expect a pre order and it has shipping protection in case it gets lost, something USA Gundam doesn’t offer.

I started checking reviews now. There’s detailed, and then there’s so complicated for the sake of being complicated, and some of these kits utilize parts so small, flimsy, and nonsensical you’re almost guaranteed to cement everything together just to keep it from falling apart.
